Jim Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 When building the Unimog, I noticed an possible flaw in a Lego Part. Technic, Panel Plate 1 x 5 x 11 http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=64782 Looking at the new grey panels I notice an elongated S like shape in the middle. It has the same color, but a slightly different texture, which makes it noticable. I assumed it was a flaw in the grey panels. However, the orange one has the same issue. And the older yellow panels appeared to have the same problem. Anyone ever noticed this phenomena? I never did until the grey versions appeared. (I will try to make a picture this afternoon to show you in more detail what I mean.) Quote
Conchas Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 This was always present in these panels. Even the black and white ones. It is a large part and it certainly results from the ABS flow, to fill the mold on the molding machines. Quote
