Ras 74 Posted December 24, 2004 Posted December 24, 2004 (edited) So here are some pics of my Ring. I know some of you out there will recognize the idea for it. And well... the ideas are "stolen". Im sorry but I cant find right now the original one. But I thought of making my own Ring for quite a while. I tried MANY different things to get mine NOT look to much like the other one. But find out that their model was very good in many points. The Ring it self is all my own idea. The Ring is NOT complete at all yet. There are several things that need modifications. So this is kind of a preview. Please let me know what you think: Deeplinks: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Rasmus/S...terRing/030.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Rasmus/S...terRing/031.jpg Edited June 15, 2008 by kimt deeplinked pics Quote
sam89 Posted December 24, 2004 Posted December 24, 2004 It looks great, very much like the one in the film. Do you have the Jedi Starfighter set to put in the middle of it? Quote
Ras 74 Posted December 24, 2004 Author Posted December 24, 2004 Yes I have... I was in a bit of hurry and diden Quote
ImperialJohn Posted December 24, 2004 Posted December 24, 2004 It looks great :oD Can't imagine why Lego did'nt make this in the first place? It would have made an ok set into a fantastic set ;) Quote
jonfett Posted December 24, 2004 Posted December 24, 2004 That looks great! I think that the colours work well, and it looks very accurate. Does the starfighter fit in? It is just that it looks a little too thin for it. Nice work though, and I can't wait to see it finished. Jon. Quote
Ras 74 Posted December 24, 2004 Author Posted December 24, 2004 It fits!! Great!! The Ring is kind of BIG... I will have a pic of the JSF in the Ring soon! Quote
ApophisV Posted December 24, 2004 Posted December 24, 2004 Looks fantastic!!! I watched Ep2 yesterday and also thought about the fact that Lego hadn't made the booster ring..... A shame....
