I Scream Clone Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 A great entry Taz, nice vest and chaps! I would maybe suggest a little more detailing on the ground, perhaps some more rocks? Quote
Tazmaniac Posted July 26, 2011 Author Posted July 26, 2011 Noted ISC, I'll give it some thought.....it is all about the minifig though right? That said a perdy vig doesn't hurt in the voting. Quote
TheLegoDr Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 Nice chaps and vest for sure. I really like the set-up with the pack on the horse. How was that done? Quote
Tazmaniac Posted August 22, 2011 Author Posted August 22, 2011 OK I've added a bit more to the base.......might still change again though. Quote
Darkdragon Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 I like the figure and the whole vig. Love the balancing rock and the cow skull!! Quote
Tazmaniac Posted August 22, 2011 Author Posted August 22, 2011 How is the skull done? Steve It's the torso from the original General Grievous plus a skeleton leg and a couple of horns. Nice chaps and vest for sure. I really like the set-up with the pack on the horse. How was that done? It's not there any more, but it was just a 1x1 plate with two back packs attached, then sat over the rear of the horse.....floating if you will. Quote
Athos Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 Nice chaps and vest for sure. I really like the set-up with the pack on the horse. How was that done? What horse? Steve Quote
Tazmaniac Posted August 22, 2011 Author Posted August 22, 2011 What horse? Steve It was in the original pic...... still on my fickr. Quote
Praiter Yed Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 The waistcoat and chaps are really good (especially the chaps!). And I really like the balancing rock - I can't decide whether the horse should still be included. Quote
MstrOfPppts Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 Yes I think every cowboy used to have a horse so I think it's missing there. But the diorama and the rocks is great and far better than the first version. About the fig, it's great! As I've stated elsewhere I love custom parts on LEGO in such competitions, especially if they are done in such a good way and blend into LEGO greatly. Nice job! Quote
MattieG7 Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 Nice creation TazManiac! This is certainly an improvement over the first version The custom waistcoat and chaps are great! The landscape is certainly better now there are rocks there, to make it look even more like the Wild West! Good luck in the contest Quote
