Matn Posted July 9, 2011 Posted July 9, 2011 The Star Snack Bar is thought to be one of the few family-friendly restaurants on the planet. And now Johnny's gang has set their mind on it. Little do they know that the Star Snack Bar is in fact owned by one of the biggest Mafia bosses on the planet. XimenaPaulina Posted July 10, 2011 Posted July 10, 2011 This is an excellent snack bar Matn, I simply love the overall clean white finish and the multi-window pane design. Without the alien minifigs this will actually fit in well on a normal town layout IMO. Great job! Quote
BasOne Posted July 10, 2011 Posted July 10, 2011 Just one word after i pick up my jaw. Brilliant. Quote

'Matn' AWESOME work, excellent detail and that old 1979 snack bar sign comes in handy now and again eh ? Alien piano player and yellow sports speeder out front.....again AWESOME 'Matn'.....Brick On ! brickmack Posted July 10, 2011 Posted July 10, 2011 Cool restaurant 'Matn'. Nice slightly angled windows in the front. Nice interior also. Nice use of the old style hinges for the black keys on the piano. What part is used for the TV upstairs? Quote
Hoboman Posted July 11, 2011 Posted July 11, 2011 Very nice MOC. I love the use of the spider face for the "Boss". Well done that. I also love the game table. Very creative. Quote
Legostein Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 Hello! A great science fiction diorama. The accesoires are preytt nice, especially the modfied motorbike which is now an air-chopper. Also the shape of the building is quite challenging. Cheers, ~ Christopher Quote
Brickdoctor Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 Excellent work, Matn! The color scheme, classically styled speeder, and use of the LU tile all stand out for me. And the goblins look great in those helmets. Quote
Khorne Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 I hope this isn't considered necroing (the topic's only a month old ), but I just saw this creation and I think it's a pity I only got such limited response, because this MOC just oozes personality; it's like Deadwood's Al Swearengen 'Gem saloon' in space! The shape and colouring is great and I just love the robot playing the piano. The only thing bothering me, though, is that it kind of looks more like an underwater building or some bar in the dunes. I don't really know what could be changed to do away with this, maybe changing the colour of the baseplate? A really classy looking MOC . Quote
