SavaTheAggie Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Gallery Texas State Railroad GE 45 ton side rod switcher #1 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GE_45-ton_switcher Built by General Electric in January 1947 for the Temple Lumber Co. as locomotive #1. It was later acquired by the Texas State Railroad in 1972. Source This is the only TSRR locomotive I have never seen in person. She has been recently repainted all red, which I thought was boring, so I built her as she was. --Tony Quote
AussieJimbo Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Two Sava locos in one day, what a treat. Another great rendition. :classic: Quote
Selander Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Nice build. How is it powered ? I don't see either battery box or IR-receiver. Quote
L@go Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Both #1 and #22 look great, but this is my favourite. I love the way the colours make it pop :) Quote
SavaTheAggie Posted June 16, 2011 Author Posted June 16, 2011 Thanks all. Nice build. How is it powered ? I don't see either battery box or IR-receiver. It's not. Three of the four TSRR diesels are unpowered, as they're either too small or the design too complex to be powered in any fashion. --Tony Quote
Selander Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 I was suspecting that as I could see no signs of motors or related stuff. Also considering your design there shouldn't be space enough, but you can never be certain......some guys are experts and have magic tricks up their sleeve. Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted June 17, 2011 Posted June 17, 2011 Another great MOC. Neat little switcher. Too bad it does't have any power. At least it'll look good in your collection. Keep it up Quote
