Is this asda living or asda supermarket? I went to my asda supermarket and they didn't have any, I was so looking forward to it.

The ones i paid £11.90 for was a big asda walmart but the ones i paid £8.50 for were from a smaller asda supermarket, they were on top shelf with no prices so i took one each to get scanned and they came up at £8.50. It does seem to differ massively cos my partner picked up loads the star wars fighter pods 4packs which are normally around £5 reduced to £2 where as the asda that had the lego for £8.50 only had a £1 knocked off the fighter pods. Think i spent last few days trawling asda and tesco's to get some bargains, tesco apparently had the millenium falcon at half price for £64 but think i missed that one..

I'm so excited!!!

After 3 years of waiting, I finally got my hands on a New Sealed in box copy of the Lego set 8039: Venator Class-Republic Attack Cruiser!!

I purchased it on EBay for $139, which is a heck of a deal considering that it cost over $200 on amazon market place (USA).

Thanks guys for the Asda UK info - I popped into my local store and got droid escape for £11.50 and the Geonosan Cannon for £8.50 - very happy! Also Tesco has Pod Racer set for £34.99 and I'm tempted to get it at that price.

Did anyone get the millenium falcon for £64? I would have got x10 at that price and keep them in the loft for 10 yrs.

£35 for the podracers?! I have to get it, please tell me the deals are still going on.

I was well gutted to find out that the Tesco's in my area was sold out....**** (excuse my french). I have been after that set for so long on a tight budget.

Tesco are clearing their discontinued stock - its just a case of seeing what your local store has left - my store near Manchester (Walkden) had the Pod Racer set at half price - I have also seen the Geonosan Fighter reduced to half price.

Today I picked up the 9494 Anakin's Jedi Interceptor at A-Tembo (a Dutch computer store with a little LEGO department in Delft). I'm glad to finally have it, the ship is really cool, I think, and the minifigs are awesome

I bought the new TIE at Wal-Mart Sunday, since its actually $5 cheaper than Lego there. Target has it at $50 too but Wal-Mart is closer to me. Overall, the whole time at the store took around 10-15 minutes. Most of the time was at the register.

The set itself is quite bigger than I thought it would be, which is nice. I did have a little kid moment when I purposely dropped it on the floor and pieces shattered everywhere. That was a pleasant experience.

Very nice! I'm jealous!

Just got the 7674 V-19 off ebay for £23 inc p&p, used, and no box, but I'd only be building and displaying it anyways :P

Nice! This is still my favorite ship!

I don't often frequent the Star Wars boards, I must admit. I'm a massive fan of Star Wars, and the Lego sets, but the majority are out of my price range, so I tend to not buy any.

However, I was in Asda Motherwell in Scotland, UK a few weeks back, and managed to find 7962-1: Anakin Skywalker and Sebulba's Podracers for just £14.99 on sale! Thats a saving of £67!!!

It's a great set, with Sebulba's pod being incredibly details. We love it!

Edit: I should also add, I did buy the 10188 Death Star a couple of years back. That was a no-brainer :D

For me the most recent is 10221 Executor (purchased together with 10220 from Pixmania), completing my collection of UCS SW sets (only the ships and not playsets, I hate these, nor busts). But sold most of the nonUCS SW Lego sets at the same time.

Not as into Star Wars sets as I used to be, but I recently found General Grievous' Starfighter at Target for $14.95. Not sure why it was on clearance when nothing else was, but I wasn't going to complain about it, either. :sweet:
