oo7 Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 I had these things sitting around for awhile and I was planning on posting them yesterday, and it is just an insane coincidence that yesterday was also the day DoubleT posted his "Borg". But I didn't get around to putting these here yesterday so here they are now. A small vignette of a Borg Regeneration Alcove. This is in honor of the great TV show Star Trek The Next Generation (NOT STAR TREK DS9, VOYAGER, OR ENTERPRISE). And without the borg This is my Bird of Prey, a Klingon ship from TNG. The BOP in Attack position The plates covering the joints need to be repositioned to put the BOP in landing position. :-( Don't ask why it is a bluish color scheme instead of a greenish one because I will have no good answer. More pics of BOP in my BS folder. Quote
Kikuichimonji Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 I don't know to much about the Borg, so I'll refrain from commenting on it. The Klingon BoP however, looks really good! Very nice that you managed to build something which looks both simple and awesome. Great job! Quote
Lost Viking Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 Hehe, that's awsome! I recently watched First Contact and that borg really reminds me of it. Have you seen it? And yes, Next Generation Pwns all other Star Trek series. I am currently going through all of the seasons. Quote
oo7 Posted July 26, 2006 Author Posted July 26, 2006 I recently watched First Contact and that borg really reminds me of it. Have you seen it? Yep, that was a good movie. And yes, Next Generation Pwns all other Star Trek series. I liked The Origianal Series too, but they don't have borg in it. I am currently going through all of the seasons. I occasionally watch it on Spike and G4 but once I rented what I thought would be a one DVD box with one disk of 4 ep. from season 6 (my local library does that with TOS but they have no TNG) in an inter-library loan and I got back the a pack of seven disks, the whole 6th season, and I'm thinking; this isn't fair, it counts as one item so I only get a week to watch it like all the other movies! |-/ but it was funny how tremendously huge the box was :-D But anyway, back on topic, It's good to here that people like my Trekkie LEGO, thanks guys. *y* Oh, and I forgot to post my BS folder that has more pics of the BOP so it is edtied now. oo7 Posted July 27, 2006 Author Posted July 27, 2006 Whoa, that's a neat trick! I wonder how it would look with spaces instead of periods. D'oh, that will only work in MS word or notepad or something like it. Quote
Sarg_Kulo Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 Nice ship there, although I think the design of the guns could be improved a little. Lost viking: I recently saw a page where they were loads of them, mostly star wars, there were x wings and TIEs. They look really cool *sweet* Quote
optimus-convoy Posted July 28, 2006 Posted July 28, 2006 Very nice. :-) Good to see some Trekkie MOCs around here. Quote

Vader Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 Looks great :-) i really love the Regeneration Alcove, its simple and looks like the real thing. Personnaly i was always a big fan of the borg......its just a shame they were reduced to foes that were easy to beat. Quote
ghoulrealm Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 These are 2 of the best Trek mocs out there, even though there are only a hand full of trek mocs that are any good at all. I will admit it is most difficult to create a decent looking ship in lego. Color aside, I think your bird of prey, maybe not perfectly, captures it well. Janeway is some kind of JarJar Binks in Star Trek. :-X And that Quote
