Okay, you'll say not another smegging BOC rebuild, yes.....but this time expanded with the first of the additional businesses along side it.

The BOC store is finished, but the bearing/drive belt store isn't so it's W.I.P. plus I might just think about quick re-adding a tyre depot for truck/tractor tyres I'll see how time and money goes.

So now some photos.......

Keep on watching !

Hi lightningtiger,

What really impresses me most about this creation is the amount of effort you have done with the sticker logos. They add a great touch of reality and indicate you must be a pretty patient MOCer locating, editing, printing and sticking so many on one MOC! I made one such sticker yesterday and it wasn't the most fun experience I have ever had let's just leave it at that ^^

Thanks 'AJ' and 'Calvin' for your kind words.

I'm a professional electronics tech. so be spot on is force of habbit for me, it took me quite a while to get the stickering to the way it is now, don't give up - go realism ! :classic:

Train show is late next week so the mad rush will be on as of tomorrow to finalise all the actual Lego city sets and all the MOC's especially my Aussie country town.

The CBC store will be finished tomorrow, but I'm open to suggestions because I'm in the mood for building !

Keep on watching everyone !

That old scratched up old window works great in your MOC, well done.

Thanks 'Follows Closely', yeah it gives the place an industrial/outback-rough and tumble look....not your nerds, but real men....who just listen to The Village People !

On topic though, I'm putting in a 4x14 plate and tiling it plus a customer service counter as well to tomorrow !

Keep on watching everyone !

Very nice, but what keeps amazing me is the little products on the shelves and hanging up, I especially like the elastic band with the sticker on it like some rolled up wire or something, the attention to detail is Grrrrrreat!:thumbup:

Such attention to detail. Love the belts :)

Thanks 'ManitobaMoe' for your kind comments, I have started reworking the floor this morning in the CBC store to take in a counter. Plus I have designed on LDD a small tyre store with just a simple roller door as it's entrance....scratching building that a little later on (hopefully today  )!

Keep on watching !

Excellent new buildings LT! You've really got some nice new exterior architecture. BTW, how do you make such small yet detailed pieces like that? Are they real pieces?

Thanks 'prateek' for your comments, it's a little tricky and there is a a lot of skill required to make merchandise out of humble Lego pieces !

Oh, and 'AJ'.....I cut tiny pieces of red Lego tubing to create the effect of the red bottle cap.

Keep on watching.....more to come !

very nice! but... vinyl stickers are better than those paper stickers...

Thanks for the comment, now my stickers are photographic ones, which I can afford, vinyl ones heck I wouldn't even know how much they are or where to get them.

In any case, aren't they thicker than photo paper ones ?

Anyway, keep on watching !

I picked up some transparent ink jet labels that I'm keen to try out (wish I could print in white ink, can any consumer printer do that?) and some plain paper ones.

Couldn't find any photo/glossy paper ones at the local Office works. What brand/product code do you use, LT?

I have seen those transparent ones, but they are too dear for my budget !

The brand I use is 'ausinc' catalogue no. AUPS64 around 14 bucks for 20 6"x4" sheets.

Brick On Sticker On everyone !

As always New Mannum never disappoints.

Cheers.

Thanks 'gotoAndLego', hopefully today I'll lay the whole town out again with these new buildings and check to see where the tyre place can go.....if I can squeeze one in...I will build a new one (though only 16x16).

Keep on watching !

@lightningtiger

I agree the detailing with those stickers is awesome!

Which leads me to one question: How do you match the printing Pantone colors to the actual brick color? You seemed to do a pretty good job there, almost like an official Lego stickers.

I'm currently designing the logo for my heavy hauler. :classic: It'll take a while to complete since I'm waiting for additional parts to be shipped from BL. so in the meantime I just do stickers first.I have red bricks which will have stickers with red background on them.
