I love it! I saw this last week in BS and I was really amazed, excellent work Alibabo! :sweet:

Being a Mediterranean guy myself, I can definitely say that you've captured the atmoshpere. The small narrow streets by the sea, the houses with foliage on them and the variety of colours that the houses have are great and characteristic elements of Mediterranean towns and villages.

The small details are very beautiful and I love the way you used the printed slopes.

Well done!

P.S

Here and here are the links for resizing and deeplinking images respectively. I know that you know how this works (judging from your other topics) but I thought that this would act as an extra motive. This creation is worth of having a photo in the first post.

I don't spend a lot of time in the town forum but I really enjoyed looking at this. You have a lot going on and you can tell a lot of time was spent on this. Thanks again for sharing.

I love this wonderful creation! I think it is perfect for its... Beautiful details and they are also small and big, the colors make me feel like going out and painting my car rainbowish. The water is great with the buildings above it and the people in the water. You built a nice sail boat possibly a fishing boat too :classic:(need to catch my breath). The SNOT job is great, and I just noticed, look at the mop on the dock! The Moc reminds me a bit of venice italy. The small details every city moc should have that you made are the flowers, cool roofing, and minifig choice. Based on a actual place?

Keep it on!

I actually really liked that MOC. There was a good blend of colours, but I have just one question... why is there one of those greenish (or so it appeared to me) windows, from one of the many police stations, in a mediterranean town? I might be wrong but I didn't think they had them.

AWESOME creation 'Alibabo', a piece of advice on resizing pictures....load the images into MS paint and resize them there, save and then upload to Brickshelf. :classic:

Excellent brick-built boat, plus beautiful looking seaside buildings ! :sweet:

Great work on everything in your MOC 'Alibabo' and Brick On !

This is a great MOC!

I especially like to see how much work you've put into the details: The helmets used for flower pots, the laundry on the line, the lovely winter garden, and last but not least that blue-haired mop :)

The fountain is very nice, too. Excellent job!

Beautiful. My first thought was of Sicily, which just shows you have the feel of the MOC just right. Great details, great build. Thank you for sharing with us.

very colourful moc! compact and nice!

From the way, u have done up the pavement where there is a red-flower plant, i can see u are ready for future expansion to ur Mediterranean town!

What a lovely creation Alibabo! default_wubnew.gif I've never been into any Mediterranean town, but from what I've seen in the movies and television, your build really captures the overall feel of a true Mediterranean atmosphere. Impressive job! default_thumbup.gif

What I really like about this diorama, is the way it seems to be much deeper than it is in reality. The little street seems to go on much further than just 48 studs. Very well done.

Thanks for your words, now I am working on it, I wanted to destroy it, but too much people sad, I shouldn't, so I am build some more house to the diorama. But... I dont have so much lego pieces. :sceptic:

Very nice. I really like the roofing on all the buildings.

The only thing I think it needs is a clothes line stretched from one building to another...?

I'm going to be stealing many of your little detail idea for my own MOCs (Hmmm... my own my own creations?)
