oo7 Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 I discovered this awsome folder on brickshelf recenty but I noticed the user this folder belonged to was Gusmoore1987 and I wasn't sure if this was our Gusmoore, thus I didn't want to take away the honor that could be rightfully his by posting this myself so I waited 4 days and no one has posted this yet so here it is. *sweet* It looks nice *wub* Quote
SuvieD Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 I don't think that is the actual set. I think this is a replica he made to look like the original. The colors are completely off and the figures are not even close to what the LEGO set will have. A good build but not the real LEGO version. Quote

Yes I am aware of that, but what I'm saying is this model gives you the idea of this castle's features, there was some debate in this thread, especially about LEGO making a torture chamber. Quote
Berry Syedow Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 Interesting. I might buy the castle after all. The gray base-plate looks surprisingly better than the official one. Quote
Khorne Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 I think the builder made the castle by using these instructions. He just didn't have all the right pieces and that's why it looks so thrown together. Quote
natelite Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 how did you find the instructions? i couldn't find the instructions from the front end of the website. Quote
Khorne Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 I found it on CC. Here's the link to the CC post. Quote
gusmoore17 Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Hi, in fact, hehehe, I am the Gusmoore that built this model. Sorry if I haven't posted anything yet here, but I have a reason: two pics of the left tower are missing which hide a misterious treasure!!! So please, all I ask you is a little bit patience and of course, you'll have the exclusive of this two photos, meanwhile you can already go to brickshelf.com at my folder or wait for my own review about this "MOC". :'-) Of course, it is not the original one, I took the instructions from a link at Classic Castle and I used pieces from my KKII collection, and as you know there are so much <insert that tiresome argument> pieces at this sets that I had to go and look for some pieces from HP, Star Wars, and even there are some Ninja and Adventurers pieces. I'll try to make the review as soon as possible and of course uploading the photos I hadn't put. Thanks a lot for your patience! :-D Quote
