LegoFan03 Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 Hi all! I worked on few modular buildings on Lego Digital Designer before I joined Eurobricks. kzv Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 NICE creations Any chance of sharing the LDD-files?? kzv Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 That's quite a wonderful collection of LDD buildings LegoFan03! All of these are very well-designed and it's really nice to see how each building has its own unique look. Any plans of doing some (or better if all) of these in real brickbuild? Quote
Tabris Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 Nice buildings. I specially like the Mexican Café. Have you built any of them? Quote
L@go Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 I have to agree with Tabris and say my favourite is the Mexican Café. It's a bit hard to make out the details in these pics, but the colour scheme and the design of the building fits its purpose perfectly. Also, I repeat: Have you built any of them? Quote
LegoFan03 Posted January 31, 2011 Author Posted January 31, 2011 Thanks, guys! All of my modular buildings designs are worth more than $300. I can't afford to build them in real life yet. When I can afford it and I will build them for sure. Quote
peterab Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Thanks, guys! All of my modular buildings designs are worth more than $300. I can't afford to build them in real life yet. When I can afford it and I will build them for sure. How have you priced them? If you use LDD that is pretty much the most expensive way to buy the parts. If you create a parts list (I think I've heard that there are apps that will do this) and use the pick a brick on the lego website it's cheaper, and probably cheaper still for most parts is Bricklink. They'll still be expensive since they have a lot of parts but maybe not $300. I hope this info helps to speed your ability to build them they look good as LDD renders, but I always like real brick better. Quote
