Musashi is a samurai from an island far to the east. He was exiled from his homeland for betraying his brotherhood. Musashi constantly roams the world as a blade for hire getting rid of anyone he needs to survive.

Is the name inspired by Miyamoto Musashi, the famous samurai?

As for the MOC itself, I think it's a bit too blocky. Smoothing it more wouldn't be too hard but make it look a lot better. I just love his sword though.

At first I was having an issue with the chest being so squarish. Then I thought about it and looked at the other pictures and I decided it is great. This isn't just a special colored bionicle but it has style and plenty of parts to bulk it out and make it look like a samurai.

Yep. While building him I just wanted some traditional Japanese name. Then I found a wiki on Miyamoto Musashi and thought Musashi sounded cool. X-D

My only suggestion is that you make a flag for him.

I wanted to give him a big Ninja red flag or a big jolly roger flag but sadly, I have neither. *sad*
