medib Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 (edited) I designed a simple fire van for my wife's godson for Christmas, as a gift. It came in a nice box which was more than worth the cost to get it. Pictures: The rest of the folder: Fire Van from Brickshelf I really like the SNOT design on the roof as my favorite part of the model, and the trans-smoke windows on the sides and back. prateek Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 (edited) I saw this earlier on BS, and I've got to say, as a gift for a child, this is great, but I think it's too tall to be a realistic fire truck MOC. Nice job though, and that's very nice to give this as a present Edited January 2, 2011 by prateek Quote

Nice job though, and that's very nice to give this as a present Thanks for the feedback. I was using a fire van like this for inspiration: ...and you do notice that the van does fit nicely in the appartaus floor with room to spare... :p Quote
prateek Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Yes, that is one very dusty fire station Is that a set or another MOC? Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Very well done LDD MOC medib! Nothing beats a personalized gift, I'm sure your wife's godson really enjoyed this one, especially since he's the only one with this set in the whole world. Nice work! Quote
lightningtiger Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 Nice gift for your wife's godchild you created 'medib', but I'm wondering if 6 wide would have looked better as 'prateek' is right.....it does look a little too tall in 4 wide. Anyway, nice design and Brick On ! Quote
Follows Closely Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 I don't see any SNOT? How many pieces? Care to share the cost? Great gift! I thought about gifting this way, but was afraid that it would be too costly. Quote
sens1992 Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 Cool fire van Medib! The box looks nice too. It makes for a nice gift! Good work! Quote
