Prologue The dark, billowing clouds that engulfed the skyline of Nox attempted to mask the horror that was about to unfurl. The shadows of the inhabitants who were going to bed were barely distinguishable, faint, fuzzy outlines that soon disappeared as the last sources of light were snuffed out. Soft breaths of sleep could be heard throughout the entire primitive, wood made village. But soon one sound stopped, and broke the pulse of the villagers for a brief moment.
