lego detectives wanted

any one know the page or site that showed a pic of a lego indecater desige(it might be for some thing else but i am pritty sure that was what it was for) that used a offset arm desgin it is not any of serials designs,i need it becouce i want to control a pf switch from an moterised axle i looked on brickshelf and i could not find it am sure some of you know what am on about

I think what he wants is a Reverse Gear Indicator Light/Buzzer setup, like this one from TechnicBRICKS. He also could mean a "turn signal indicator" light, as discussed in Sariel's Automated Trafficators System:
