CommanderFox Posted December 24, 2010 Posted December 24, 2010 (edited) I was thinking this evening that since there are happy birthday topics, why not make a topic for Christmas? So here it is! I thought it would be cool to just talk - discuss what your doing, ect, for Christmas! As for me, i'm going to church in the morning, then i'll be having a nice relaxing afternoon eating lots of food, and hopefully will have some lego by then...well, i'll keep my hopes up anyway. So I'd like to here what everyone else is going to be doing, I know the bulk of you aren't even close to the 25th yet (it is just now the 25th in NZ), but you can still post what your going to be up to. I'll be enjoying a relaxed afternoon, buying some last-minute gifts, watching movies, and then in the evening: the party gets started! We're having a very nice dinner then - everyone except me eats goose (I don't like it) and I get Wiener Schnitzel or possibly you'll understand this term better: breadcrumbed Viennese escalope. After dinner, we're moving on to the christmas tree, presents and biscuits! YAY! Quote

I'm going to skip the airing of grievances and go straight to apologizing for offending anyone this past year with my typical undiplomatic, straightforward way of just saying what's on my mind. I know it bothers a lot of people, and I'd like to consider everyone here as part of a group of adults who can take it as it is, just discussion that can sometimes be a bit... oh, let's say "animated." Something I did in LDD which has been my sig in the past couple of weeks (credit to the great Jebediah for the sigfig artworks): Christmas is about to end in our side of the world, I had a great time spent with the family and relatives. For a change, it was nice giving away Lego gifts to my kid nieces and nephews instead of receiving Lego gifts from others. Hope others had fun as well! Quote

Unfortunately my Christmas is being spent killing time at my folks' house, waiting to hit the shops (particularly Westfield's Lego store) tomorrow.
