Hello everyone! As some of you already knew, the LEGO-X website (which I'm the creator of) has just added it's 6th installment of the LEGO-X Podcast! It's my first video podcast! Check it out! I interview the MCP member, Xander Soldaat, I talk about the 1H2011 Sets, and more!

I notice that you pronounce Technic, Technique, which I am not by any means saying is wrong, but I always thought that it was pronounced Tech Nick Or have I been pronouncing it incorrectly?

By the way, great video!

Hmmm...Yes, I have heard it both ways. I just think Technique sounds a bit better. Maybe that's just because I've been saying it my whole life. lol. I think neither of us are wrong, but now I'm curious how LEGO wanted it to be pronounced...hmmm.

It is a "word" from a non-English language, so pronunciation in English is up to us! Personally, I also say tek-neek (like technique). Don't know why, I just do, and it is therefore correct.

The Lego-x.com website has a poll which asks AFOLs for subjects of his next interview. Sariel and Blakbird have been interviewed by others, as well as Crowkillers....

Well...it's not JUST for AFOL's. I want ANYONE's opinion :)

Here is how they pronounce it in their commercial.

oh...ok, well...I looked it up in Google translate, and I used Detect language to English, and in the Detect Language box, it showed Romania (they pronounce it Tech-nick), but if you listen to the English side, they say Tech-NEEK. So, I'm not Romanian, so, I'm going to stick with Tech-NEKK. :) lol

lol - I had no idea anyone anywhere said tek-neek until this video came up! In New Zealand it's always been teck-nick. But we aren't very good at vowel sounds (tick-nuck) over here so maybe we say it that way because it's easier to say.
