Snoopy Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Hi Everybody, There is around 110 LEGOLAND sets (city, trains, ...) from 1976 to 1987 on eBay http://shop.ebay.co.uk/goichot/m.html If it can help to complete your collections. Laurent (from France, Paris) Quote
Zeya Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 That's cool. However, anyone thinking of bidding should look at the posts carefully. I see him claim on the one that I looked at that the instructions and box were missing, but from the photos, he's clearly missing some bricks too; I saw a minifig missing a helmet and also some other bricks too. legomaniac83 Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 (edited) Postage to the UK is horrendous too!! €22!! I deal with eBay a lot to add to my collection and I can never figure out why some sellers charge so much for shipping. I hardly ever pay over what the set actually sold for new, including shipping. That is a nice collection hes got, though. Edited December 2, 2010 by legomaniac83 Quote
CP5670 Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 I deal with eBay a lot to add to my collection and I can never figure out why some sellers charge so much for shipping. I hardly ever pay over what the set actually sold for new, including shipping. They do that to avoid the ebay fees, which only cover the base price and not the shipping price last I checked. The charge is actually for "shipping and handling," and handling can basically cost whatever the seller wants. I don't really have a problem with this as long as it's advertised up-front, but you should always look at the final price with shipping when deciding to buy something. Quote
