TheWarden Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 Possibly missed it, my search fu is weak. Looking at the Review index for this theme there do not seem to be any reviews. I own the 6494 Mystic Mountain Time Lab and... one of the smaller sets, I think. Are old set reviews interesting to you all? Or is seeing unavailable / out of print sets frustrating? I could review the Time Lab. And do not fret, if there is interest, I strive to do it well in vein of the admirable reviews that we see on EB. (Reviewer's Academy et all.) Quote

They're listed here: (you might have to wait for the pics to load and ctr-f to get to it) http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=30357&view=findpost&p=524355&hl=6494%20&fromsearch=1 but all say "needs reviews" so I say, go for it. =) Quote

Decale Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 Well TheWarden, I would love to see a good review of the lab! As a kid, I had a lego catalog introducing the new time cruisers theme, and the professor and the kid made a small appearance on almost every page and every different theme, paradisa, ice planet or pirates etc. Time Cruisers were an infinite source of stories that could apply to any set I owned! Sadly, I didn't have a single until last year. I bought 6493 Flying Time Vessel on Bricklink and wasn't disappointed by the craziness of the model. Well it was a trap, cause now I don't want to break it down for parts and it uses some precious shelf space I don't know if I'll find the courage to do a review, I've never done that, but if you review the time lab, it would be a great start Quote
Yeow Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 It surprises me at how many reviews we are lacking for some of the older action sets (i.e., Time Cruisers and Aquazone). I'll hopefully be filling in some of the underwater themes reviews soon! Quote

Yes, I am very much interested to see the very first Time Cruiser's review. I will like to find out more information with regards to those mysterious sets during my Dark Age. The Green Brick Giant Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 6494 Mystic Mountain Time Lab is an awesome set! I got it for $20-$30 many many years ago at a TRU. It could really use a review. I can't because I have no clue where I stuck the directions. Quote

Masked Builder Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 Sadly the review databases are most likely never going to be complete. I would like to see some reviews of these sets though. Quote
