Burning Roof Techniques

Hey Everybody,

I am working on a MOC, and need some ideas for a way to create a burning roof. (ei: a roof that is on fire) Please give me your ideas and techniques, and if I use it, I will give you credit.

Ahoyhoy.

I find the basic principle is to make a hole in the roof and clip flame pieces inside, adding some charred timbers (black plates) for effect.
