DLuders Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 (edited) On this , ssugawara1955 built a functional Test Stand for a modified Lego Technic 8051 Motorbike made into a "chopper". Even though the wheels are turning backwards , the motorcycle is shown "riding", and the drive motor and battery box are well out of the way. Compare the "chopper" with the standard 8051 set pictured below. What do you think, JunkstyleGio? Edited October 2, 2010 by DLuders Quote
dolittle Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 If you look closely you can see that chain link of the backwheel jumping out and back from its place, causing an annoying "bump", it basically means its not tight enough. I believe others have complained to LEGO about this, and its due to the new chain link that was recently (this year?) introduced into circulation. Thanks, Noam Quote

DLuders Posted October 2, 2010 Author Posted October 2, 2010 @ JunkstyleGio: How do you like the motorcycle test stand? Quote
JunkstyleGio Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 The stand kind of looks like the one my local Harley-Davidson dealer has. But then again i don't think they wouldn't test their bikes in reverse.... Quote
