So what about Hitler? I don't get it! What's this strange fascination a number of English and Americans have with these 12 years of our history, and why do you put yourself in the line with the world's most evil villian? Now I think it's really odd, many of us Germans are trying really hard to be trustworthy world citizens, and still are often considered nazis. Just take a look at any SUN or likewise dumbing "newspaper" and you'll see what I mean. Or any goddam football match in which German players are often described as tanks and their tactics as "Blitzkrieg" - on the other hand, prince Harry and the like can go to a costume party as Nazi, and everything is just a joke - you know, this kind of "humor" actually makes me really mad! Besides, Hitler was not a Prussian!!!

I hear you with that.. I live in america, but most of my ancestory is German. I dont get mad about people saying germans are nazis though... people are ignorant... I do think you might be reading a little too much into this though kabel... Other than the no sense issues, it looks good though =)

this is realy sick!! if YOU WOULD ONLY THINK ABOUT THE MILLIONS THAT HAVE DIED IN WW2 YOU WOULD NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT THIS UNLESS YOU ARE REALLY SICK!!!!

We all know that, but we cant change the history right? But we can learn about the history and not to do those bad things again eh? Many of the Nazis tryed to kill him but none of them were succesfull, Hitler knew about those and killed his own mens too because he was afraiting at some of them would try to steal his place.

So please try to keep your post clean, and remember the good behavior of course

sorry i just over reacted, cause half my familie died during ww2

We all have some bad memories about WW2 and Nazi Germany, my country was an ally of Nazi German on that time and because of that, we lost many parts of Finland. Our President on that time Mannerheim didnt like Hitler either. And im sorry to hear at half of your family died on ww2, but so did many and many others too. Im intrested about any kind of History and trying to get every single possible information about Hitler, WW2 and Nazi Germany, no, im not a fan of Hitler or Nazism but im only intrested at why did he killed so many peapole etc etc. I got Mein Kampf (My war or something like that) book on Chrismas and have readed it about twice, it had some very good information about the life on that time, but of course it has writed by Hitler so...

Well, I'm very interested in history, too. That doesn't mean however, that I'd spoil a TOY!! with this! I'd really like the mods to remove this brainless crap!

Depictions of Hitler may be a sensitive issue for some but the problem here he has nothing to do with Pirates whatsoever.

So efullner could we please have the following revisions to your poster:

  • Remove Hitler and Madam Schwartz because they are not relevant to the Pirate theme.
  • Remove "Prussions Forever" because that has nothing to do with the creation.
  • Correct the spelling of "Bonaparte" - it's spelt "Bonoparte"

I've changed the thread title to something more appropriate since there are no actual Pirates here.

Okay, I have seen all of your replies and now I know what I'll do.

  • Get rid of Hitler
  • Make Madame Schwartz's clothing more period
  • Put in an evil pirate or something
  • Add some more privateers.

Now, be patient. It probably won't be finished in a hop, skip, and jump; but it will be more reformed and probably won't offend any more pirates out there.

P.S. When I said something about Hitler in the movie in an above comment, I was just making up a reference.

Exactly what movie are you talking about?

At no point in this thread have you referenced an existing movie or indicated you're creating a poster for a hypothetical movie.

C. von Nassau, of course you're right about the war being a complete disaster.

But on the other hand I think you're paying too much attention to this wrong topic.

I think we should all just stop spamming this topic full with this kind of talking since it's a pirate forum and that's where the talking should be about.

Furthermore, I think this topic should be closed and efullner should post normal stuff in the future. :pir-classic:

Wow this thread caused a lot of commotion... I dont really understand the point of the poster or the entire thread honestly... as people have mentioned, there are no pirates... I dont see how a thread like this can even be made into a pirates thread... better off removing it in my mind to be honest....

And just out of curiosity, where are all of the native americans and other people... havent really seen anybody type stuff about cortez...

how did you get some of those bodies. mainly Drakes torso. I've never seen it in the decorations section of LDD LU mode?

I created the designs with MicroSoft Paint, mostly because I don't prefer the normal Space Skulls torsos. It kind of makes them look evil.
