Darth_Ewok Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/17315 "The Liberator Starship is the workhorse fighter of military organizations throughout the galaxy. It is one of the most versatile fighters on the market, packaging durability with speed and power." I just built the Liberator a few days ago when I was pulling out my bricks. I saw the long, bley b-wing fin thing and wanted to build something with it. My favorite part of the liberator is it's back, it looks really cool from behind, very powerful but still fast and agile. I hope you guys like it! P.S. I'm posting all my MOC's on my MOC page so look there for all my newest stuff! My MOC page - http://www.mocpages.com/home.php/3786 Quote
Starwars4J Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 I LOVE the color scheme *y* Maybe work the wings to be a little less flimsy, and as for the cockpit, did you use it just because it was also B-wing? Maybe if it isn't working just choose a different screen? Quote

Maybe if it isn't working just choose a different screen? #1. Yes I love the color scheme too, I plan on using it for most of my SpaceTron Corp. fighter craft. #2. The wings are actually pretty big in my opinion but they don't have much support on the bottom, I'll fix that... #3. I really didn't use the b-wing as my influence in this MOC, just for the fins (I LOVE those) I just happened to have that cockpit nearby. I like the B-wing cockpit on this MOC because it gave the ship more of a flow, this cockpit just fits better and looks smoother than the others (I tried an X-wing one and it just broke up the MOC and made it look wierd.) The cockpit actually works fine, as the reviewer said, it looks wierd when opening. It fits fine when closed though. P.S. If you have time, please rate/review it. Quote
Starwars4J Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 Sure, no problem! I actually meant the support for the wings too. Otherwise I love it! I'm so in love with that color scheme... *wub* Quote
Kikuichimonji Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 Welcome back :-D And I like this, but I'd drop the white, personally. It does have its charm, but I'd change it myself. Not too sure grey would look good there though...A lot better then my first tries at a space MOC... Quote
SuvieD Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 I like this ship. It is very nice. Colors and shape both are a good fit. I would redo the cockpit and add a little to the underside. Consider removing the guns from the front of the engines unless this is a space only fighter in which case there is no need for air intake. Everything else is looking good. MOC on and welcome back *ewok* Quote
Darth_Ewok Posted April 25, 2006 Author Posted April 25, 2006 Thanks for all the feedback guys! So this is what I need to fix (tell me if I miss anything.) 1. support wings / bricks on bottom of ship (To make it look bulkier / more powerful) 2. get rid of white engines (to fix color scheme) 3. redo cockpit (needs to open right and look sleek) SurvieD - It actually is a space only fighter, that's it's major drawback. They have to be produced in space and can't be used on land. I might change that when I fix it. :-/ Well! You guys have inspired me to do a Version 2! I will post pics again once i'm done, it will take a while though, I need to find the right bricks for the job. In the meantime, I will be doing some Star Wars MOC's as well! :-) Quote
