UPDATE.. New pictures added just below the "old"

This is an almost finished WIP - a Volvo front loader with "hydraulics" functions for bucket and liftarms

so that it can be positioned in any angle with full support and able to carry a decent "load".

I am still waiting for some parts from BL, that I think will improve the general look a bit.

Still, it would be nice to get your comments and/or creative proposals to what I've achieved so far.

Hereunder a few new shots. I changed a few things and added new lights front and rear + rear mirrors.

Please say what you think, did it became better...or...did I add too many details ?

Okay I need a word.......I know it......AWESOME !

Fantastic hydraulics and how did you do the Volvo sash on the rear engine grill ?

Great work 'Selander' and I'm a conformist! ! :sweet:

Thanks Tiger and all others for your kind comments!!

As for the Volvo-looking-thing on the rear grill, it is merely a thin grey stripe, with a small

square stripe in center.

As a general comment on response on EB, I'd say it's really unpredictible. I've spent numerous hours of work

on this front loader, but very few commented it. On the other hand I put a 5 minute job into my

tan SUV (just adding those doors) and that topic has twice the number of visitors and comments

(just as an personal reflexion)

My observation is that as new members many people comment on all the new mocs saying stuff like 'thats great', 'nice moc' etc. After a while they realise that reading thirty responses like that doesn't add much to a thread, so they slow down. I only comment on stuff I'm really interested in or if I have a concrete suggestion for improvement.

I haven't built many construction vehicles, so I can't offer any suggestions for improvement. It's not that I don't like your moc, just that I want to avoid a 'thats cool' post.

I think you are 100% correct, because I acknowledge doing the same

I like the design of your front-loader Selander, I'm no hydraulics expert, but I think you did a pretty good job pulling off a functional front hydraulics for such a small-size MF-scale vehicle - very good job on that. The design of the rear looks also very Volvo-ish especially with the custom logo.

Thanks KielDaMan !! You are absolutely correct, it was a challenge to fit 2 “cylinders” and achieve the desired functionality in this relatively small vehicle.

It’s basically as small as it can get, unless TLG releases an item with similar function, but smaller than 53586.(which I would welcome !! )

BL link to 53586
