Flare Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 (edited) This doesn't look good for our heroic Space Police friends... Not much commentary here, 5 points to whoever guesses who those officers are XP (sort of easy XD) Thanks for viewing! Edited August 11, 2010 by Flare Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 (edited) Nice one Flare! Clever use of the official lego rubber bands, and I love the use of the hinge plates as wall details. - Tsk, tsk, looks like the two really are in trouble, who's gonna save them? - I'll take the "pan-ishment" over the spiked ball anyday. - Silly me, but I can't seem to figure out the identity of our heroic SPs. RoryoCox Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 A great little vignette Flare. The wall behind has great details and I like the use of elastics. One thing, those molded green aliens are horrible but we can blame TLG for that. Quote
Flare Posted August 12, 2010 Author Posted August 12, 2010 ... those molded green aliens are horrible but we can blame TLG for that. Yes, they are quite pathetic jointwise but for some reason I have a strange attachment to them Quote
manta5 Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 nice, one is indiana jones, not sure about the other one though. p.s. I'm not a fan of license themes. Quote
Masked Builder Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 I'm guessing some body from the Pages that you make fun of regularly. Though I'm not sure who.... Quote

I'm guessing some body from the Pages that you make fun of regularly. Though I'm not sure who.... Yup. If no one guesses correctly soon I'll say... Quote
Mr McGow Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 What a clever little vignette. I've never seen the hinge bricks (or rubber bands) used in that manner before. P.S is that KimT and Dave Shaddix? Quote

P.S is that KimT and Dave Shaddix? Thanks for the compliments And good guesses, but no, they are actually intended to be Mark Kelso and Chris Phipson But that is more of MOCpages type of joke Quote
Batbrick Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 Great little creation here Flare! I espeically love the use of bands and the little click-joint thingy....things. I'm quite like you in the issue of the Jelly Aliens, they are pathetic and I hate them, yet at the same time I quite like them and still have them in my minifig display. Maybe it's a case of So bad it's good? Batbrick Away! Quote
jonwil Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 Nice MOC. I think the Mars Mission aliens are the ugliest piece ever produced by TLG. Quote
Forresto Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 Good concept and it's interesting to have two themes (both with humans vs aliens) mix. I also like that it's using a frying pan .......And the Jellies strike back! Quote
Flare Posted August 15, 2010 Author Posted August 15, 2010 Kelso and Phippy. Yup. Now if you guessed this BEFORE I wrote a comment saying thats who they were... Quote
lightningtiger Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 Funny vig you have there 'Flare' - oh, what are they going to do with that frying pan ? Great work and I'm a conformist! ! Quote
Legostein Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 Hello! Nice assembly! The hinge plates in the background make a great futuristic wall design. Good technique! Cheers, ~ Christopher Quote
Klay Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 Yup. Now if you guessed this BEFORE I wrote a comment saying thats who they were... DANG IT! I didn't see that! Although, I did see this on the pages first. Quote
noname Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 (edited) Yup. Now if you guessed this BEFORE I wrote a comment saying thats who they were... Oh, so that's how quizzes work... Edited August 18, 2010 by noname Quote
