TechnicJuan Posted July 14, 2010 Author Posted July 14, 2010 (edited) I have actually visit this guys MOCPages account and saw that there are a lot of descriptions about this gearbox. I can see some people here asking questions about stuff that he actually explains in his post, so be sure to check it out. I personally have built a modded version of this transmission: Which is also described on the page. I've managed to fit it in a 599 Fiorino. Looks perfectly normal. It's definitely not too big :) I have built it as well, and I am looking at it next to my 599 GTB model and I can't imagine it fitting into it and not looking strange. You have had to have done some serious modification to the interior of the car. The gears also seem to bind up pretty roughly in 1st gear and 2nd and the shifter can move very easily from one set of driving rings to another without disengaging them. I still commend the designer on his efforts for this unique design. This transmission is 11 studs from the bottom to the top of the transmission shifter and the 599 GTB is 15 studs from the very bottom of the chassis to the roof. Do you have any pictures of it fit into your 599 model? I would like to see how you did this. Edited July 14, 2010 by TechnicJuan Quote
