From the website https://www.dlblairsweepstakes.com/j6813/index.form;jsessionid=C4BDDA318EA75111CB35D685F5FBC65D , youngsters and AFOLs alike can enter the "Lego Design Challenge" :

"The LEGO® Holiday Workshop elves have swapped their sleds for surf boards and left the North Pole to go hang-ten at the beach. While our tiny toy builders ride the waves, the LEGO Toymaker needs some extra help preparing for the holidays!

"Do YOU have what it takes to design a cutting edge creation? Enthusiasts ages 5 and older are invited to submit an idea for a new LEGO creation. Develop your new LEGO creation using a maximum of 100 LEGO bricks and/or elements. Then, submit a photo or image of your creation along with a brief description of your creation (50 words or fewer). You may build your creation using physical bricks and elements or you may develop your creation virtually, using the LEGO Design byME application. [NOTE: Press that link TWICE to get past the Lego homepage.]

"See Official Rules for complete details."

One key "Official Rule" -- "ELIGIBILITY: This promotion is open only to residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 5 years of age or older as of 6/24/10."

CopMike already posted this here. :classic:
