Hobbes Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 Yeah, it's rare. But this one doesn't even come with a box, and stickers are applied already: Special offer or what?!?! 8-

Kikuichimonji Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 Well, that's pretty stupid...nobody will buy it for that price...and in that condition. I think he meant to typ 200, or he just wants to show it off and doesn't really intend to sell it...
snefroe Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 this is not the only example tho... i believe some others are doing this with other sets/minifigs as well
Hobbes Posted March 31, 2006 Author Posted March 31, 2006 this is not the only example tho... i believe some others are doing this with other sets/minifigs as well Yep: 7740 for $1350... at least it's MI(S)B... Both sellers from Germany.... hmmmmmmmm...... >:-)
snefroe Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 or this one: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?M=sw105 5000$ for Lando... hm.... Perhaps Bill gates' kids might be interested, or a crownprince somewhere the Middle East... :-P
gylman Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 That sort of stuff happens all the time on bricklink. I believe it is an attention getting manouver, because some people in their search for "rare" lego things to collect, do a search and list the items found from "most expensive" first. Just like AAAAA Towing company is listed first in the yellow pages.
Kikuichimonji Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 All the Lando guy sells is that 1 MF...and he has no feedback either :-/
Sarg_Kulo Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 A while back he had a Sail Barge and a new Stardestroyer for $7500 X-O
