hewkii9 Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 Does anyone else here have ideas for Harry Potter 5 sets? If so, post 'em here. Attack on Wisteria Lane The Dementors have attacked Harry Potter and Dudley Dursley in Wisteria Lane! Help Mrs Figg save them with a nearby garbage can! Includes 3 Dementors, Harry Potter, Dudley Dursley, Mrs Figg, and a garbage catapult, as well as a cat. Ages 7+ Notes:The catapult is a bit cheesy, but Figgy is a Squib, eh? It'd be an alley, with a lampthat switches from yellow to black, as well as the cans and catapult[disguised cleverly as a bench;woe to he whom sits upon it!] The Ministry of Magic Mr Weasley and Harry Potter are heading to the Department of Law to recieve Harry's hearing. Includes Mr Weasley and Harry Potter. Notes:It'd be the fountain on a small baseplate with a plate for coins. Mr Weasley's Office Mr Weasley works in the Office of Misuse of Muggle Items. Help him sort the papers and find Harry's inquiry sheet. Includes Mr Weasley and Perkins.[Weasley's workmate] Notes:A desk with two sides and a tray on both sides and two chairs. The Department of Mysteries[the big one] Lord Voldemort and his followers have invaded the Ministry of Magic to steal a secret prophecy! Help Harry Potter save his friends and the prophecy! Use the brain slide to drop brains on unsuspecting Death Eaters, spin the atrium floor to confuse them, and watch as Professor Dumbledore duels Voldemort on the raised platform as Sirius Black and Bellatrix Lestrange magically fight! Combine it with Mr Weasley's Office and the Ministry of Magic! Includes Sirius Black, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Harry Potter, Professor Dumbledore, Nymphadora Tonks, Professor Snape, Lord Voldemort, Lucius Malfoy, Macnair, Bellatrix Lestrange, Neville Longbottom, and Luna Lovegood! Notes: This set would be huge, and is a bit like Jabba's Palace. In the front and center, would be a raised blue plate with the Watchwizard's desk on a spring, so it can be launched at a fig. In the centre is where The Ministry of Magic would be. Dumbledore, Harry, and Voldemort are here, Harry hiding behind the desk. Behind it would be the Atrium, where the spinning plate would be. In the very back would be a door. This is where Mr Weasley's office would go. Hermione, Lucius Malfoy, Neville, and Luna would be here. On the left is the Brain Room. The slide is here. Macnair, a wounded Ron, Tonks, and Snape would be here. On the right is the Death Hall. There would be a few benches on springs, a trapdoor to knock Sirius through the veil, and Bellatrix here. All Death Eaters would not wear masks this time. Macnair carries an axe instead of a wand. Sirius would wear light grey robes, and the veil would have cloth on it. Eh? Post? Quote
Athos Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 I think these ideas are good, but they suffer from the typical fan suggested sets: too many minifigs. Particularly the wisteria lane set. Steve Quote
Aredhel Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 I think a set from the house where the order of the phoenix has the meetings would be cool. Maybe with Sirius or Mrs. Weasley as minifigs. But this maybe different because in the novel you only know from the inside. An other interesting thing would be the great hall in Hogwarts when the OWLs are written or such things as a small set. Or maybe a set with Umbridge! Quote
Christian Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 I guess that the following sets would be a reality: Dudley Demented $19.99 A small alley scene with Arabella Figg, Dudley, Harry and a dementor. (I know that it is quite a lot of mf's, but the Rescue from the Merpeople had a lot of mf's too, at the same price!) Grimmauld Place $29.99 Should come with the Grimmauld Place which could be a bit like 4706. The set should come with Kreacher, Sirius and Harry. Grawp in the Forbidden Forest $29.99 It should be a few samml scenes with some trees and vegetations a bit like 4727. also included should Grawp be. He could either be brickbuild or be a premolded piece. Mf's should be Hermione, Harry, Umbridge and a centaur. The Ministry of Magic $69.99 This set should include a lot of big and small scenes, like eventually the veil, the room with all of the prophecies and the Phonebox which is actually the entrance. Mf's should be Harry, Luna, Ron, Sirius, Bellatrix, Voldemort and possibly Neville. Quote
androodeetoo Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 I want to see five new sets for the 5th movie/book: DUDLEY DEMENTED -small set with swings, brick wall, includes HP, Dudley and 2 Dementor minifigs...can be placed next to old Privet Drive set LOCKED CORRIDOR -like HP classroom sets; hallway with door/lock, includes MR. Weasley, Nagini the Snake minifigs, attaches to Ministry Showdown UMBRIDGE'S CLASS -like other HP classrooms; comes with fireplace, locked brooms and small portion includes plants and vines (simulates when George and Fred put the swamp spell outside her office as a distraction), includes Umbridge, Fred and George minifigs 12 GRIMWAULD PLACE -narrow 3 story house, sides pull out (so it appears to widen), includes staircases, kitchen, rotating portraits and Hermione, Ron, HP and Sirius Black minifigs MINISTRY SHOWDOWN -kinda like the SW final duel, enables you to have 2 minifigs duel, includes veil, prophecy, Voldemort, Dumbledore, HP and Bellatrix LaStrange minifigs, attaches to Locked Corridor set Quote
hewkii9 Posted March 30, 2006 Author Posted March 30, 2006 Hmm...like all the ideas. I did put too many figs in my ideas, so I'll try to make a fairer one: Grawp and the Forest: 29.99 Help Hagrid and Hermione subdue Hagrid's angry brother, Grawp! Use the nearby nets to keep him under control! Includes Hermione, Hagrid, and Grawp. There would be 2 spring-trees for Grawp to launch, as well as a stumo with a spring in it to launch the nets. Background would be more trees and a BURP or two symbolizing a rock face. Grawp would be build from Bionicle Parts, looking quite like Piruk in the end, but brown and owning a custom Grawp head. Yes, that means brown Metruan limbs. Quote
gusmoore17 Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 a) Flight to London: If, there's surely be a Harry, Ron or Hermione Minifig with somekind of tree and of course a thestral (a black horse with black wings or maybe trans!!!). b) Dudley Demented: Harry and Dudley against one and just one dementor in a tinny wall with a window or stg, and maybe as another one guy said before a trash can, of course a street lamp. No squibs included of course as the Lego tradition marks (less minifigs, the better). c) Forbidden Forest: somehow like the Cementery set from Goblet of Fire, this set would include a big tree, two little ones, Grawp or a Centaur and of course Umbridge and Harry with another cool featuring (no Hermione, it would not fit with the tradition *sad* ). d) Number 12, Grimmauld Place: of the very size of the Forbidden Forest, this set would be like the Shrieking Shack from Prisoner of Azkaban, but of course it would be a bigger "victorian" style house with a tiny kitchen, tiny rooms (2 and that would be a lot) and I don't know what other things. Including Sirius, Kreacher (it would be just too criminal if this house elf doesn't appear at the movie, by the moment it seems that it's gonna be!), a very fancy chimney, Sirius' Family tree of his mother's painting and we can't forget about our lovely and traditional Harry minifig... :-/ e) Ministry of Magic: Hoping this to be real and to be the really big one set of this so called 2007 collection, the Ministry of Magic should be like the Batcave: made of three or four main big sections. One featuring of course the fountain of Magic Union (or something like that, I can't recall its real name), another featuring a little corridor, other big one featuring a turning or something like that room with too many doors, another big section of course the Department of Misteries (only the Prophecies' Room One) and other little parts would be Offices, other parts of the Department of Misteries, etc. I also like the idea of one guy before of making this set just as the Light Saber Duel from ROTS SW sets..... Minifigs: two Deatheaters (of course the Malfoy one and another), Voldemort, Harry, Ron, Hermione and Dumbledore.........well, thinking of it, only one Deatheater......for keeping tradition on the HP sets of having few minifigs and all the same :-D Extras: I would love to see an Umbridge Classroom or a tiny room from Sant Mungo's. As long as some all-time scenarios are about to be rebuilt for this fifth movie, I don't want lego to make for example a Remake of Hagrid's Hut or Dumbledore's Office.....that would not be fair for anyone. :-) Quote
Zarkan Posted April 1, 2006 Posted April 1, 2006 Nice ideas. I haven't read Phoenix for a while, so I don't really remember anything but the basic plot line and some of the scenes (particually the ones with Umbridge ;-) ) Speaking of which, how is Lego going to make Umbridge, anyway? I mean, she's huge (And when I say huge, I mean obese X-D )! They may have to make a whole new Minifig mold! X-D Quote
hewkii9 Posted April 23, 2006 Author Posted April 23, 2006 They could make new chest armour that goes on over the neck, like Ogel shoulders, and make that fat. Or, they could just put bulge lines on the decals. Quote

We are talking about the one who becomes the new defence against the dark arts teacher right. Maybe I read the book too long ago to remember but I can't recall it describing here as fat.Jon. Quote

Im a mild Harry Potter maniac, and as far as I remeber is Umbridge a little thin woman with a toad like face. Maybe you thinking about Slughorn, from the sixth book, because he is one big, fat man? Quote
Thrash Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 Umbridge is definately not a thin woman. Wikipedia says she is "a short, squat woman resembling a large toad." Quote
