Harry Potter Animals

Looking through some pictures of the upcoming Lego Harry Potter video games got me thinking of how many animals/mythical animals come in the Harry Potter Sets.

This one in particular made me wonder, What do AFOLs want to be add to the list of creatures in the Harry Potter universe?

Beasts:

-Hippogriff

-Phoenix

-Aragog

-Fluffy

-Dragons

-Thestrals

-Basilisk

Part Human/Like Human:

-Dementors

-House Elfs

-Goblins

-Trolls

-Merpeople

I would like to see pixies (pic above) and grindylows personally but what else are we missing?

I think that is what Tom Bricks was meaning. It can't just be coincidence!

I'll second centaurs, pixies and grindylows.

I can't think of many other creatures off the top of my head, but maybe some flobberworms or blast-ended skrewts would be a nice addition to any future 'Hagrid's Hut' sets. And Fang of course!

Maybe some more types of decorated owl to give owleries lots of variation.

A different werewolf might be nice. I thought Lupin's werewolf head looked a bit to big and a body would go well with it.

If you're listing species, which it looks like you are, Aragog is an acromantula, I think, and I guess Fluffy is a three-headed dog. Maybe you should add a list of 'wanted creatures' to the first post too.

It'll be interesting to see what else people come up with.

I doubt they'd make creatures that aren't seen in the films as they might not be recognisable to most people.

A new Wormtail and Padfoot may be good. Possibly some Patronus animals too, like Prongs. I don't think they'd be popular enough to include, however. It'd be too much work making trans animals for a small target audience.

Patronuses would be cool, but like you said, it's doubtful. Wormtail is just a rat, a new mold wouldn't do much, but maybe a battered Scabbers (Wormtail), because in the books, it says he looks sick. Maybe eye printing too.

I'd like to see some patronuses as well. I think that Harry's patronus may be well known enough to make a mold, and there's always that Room of Requirement scene in OOtP where the DA is working on patronuses. I'll also second centaurs, pixies, and grindylows.

giants and a sphynx would be cool for near humans. I would also love a proper Nagini and those brains from the ministry of magic.

Creatures seen in the movies that are possible for lego to make might be:

Stag/Doe Patronus (fairly unlikely)

Grindylows (fairly unlikely)

Pixies (possible)

Centaurs (likely because they can be used in castle)

Nagini (likely because she appears in Deathly Hallows)

Gringotts Pale Dragon (LIKELY if they make a DH Gringotts Set)

Better Werewolf (Unlikely)

Crookshanks (possible)

Grawp (Very unlikely)

Inferi (incredibly likely, it'd be easy to do)

I wouldn't say that Infiri are animals, seeing as they were once humans.

As for Nagini, I think that she'd be cool, but not as likely as you say she may be. I'd want her to where we could bend her, too.

We don't have to hope for centaurs anymore, we can just buy them at Brickforge within two weeks! I've always hoped someone would make centaur bodies. I tried to make a brick build one, but it failed. Then I was going to remove a horse's head, until I read that there was a chance Brickforge would began making centaurs. And behold, they are making them!

I can't wait for them, I'm thinking of using them with muscled torsos and making a decal of it for a brown torso (to have variation with the centaurs).
