Artifex Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 (edited) In my Legoverse, I would always have the Pirates metting my Castle minifigs. The Castle guys usually ruled the inland, and the Pirates were ever there on the seas. The Imperials would keep the Pirates at bay, guarding the shores, and have Castle reinforcements from the inland. Although Pirates and Imperials had gunpowder and guns and cannons, that was never an issue for my brave knights and their bigger numbers. The Imperials were more of newcomers to the Castle lands (sort of "we didn't really intend to come here and now that we did we are few and need help and a little settlement of our own"), and the Pirates were ever the menace. Did you play or is/was your Legoverse in any way similar to that? EDIT: Sorry, but the title should read "+" instead of "=". I couldnt really change that... :( EDIT: Thanks for fixing the title! BearHeart Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Yes thats the jist of my LEGOverse too lol. I also include the fleshies too, except theyre a different race. Quote
Kumpelkante Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Well first i mixed pirates and "knights" when i was a kid. I used them as some kind of bandits. I did not include that soldiers, though. Nowadays I incorprate some pirate-figs into my legocastle display, the same way as i did as a kid. ...just a little more subtle. I also use certain parts for castle-figs like heads with a particular beard or muscets for the dwarves (pimped with those clip-on-axeblades) When it comes to Brikwars I use all Figs i can find and make two big armies for me and my ex-girlfriend. (well i did, when she was still my girlfriend ) Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 I use a lot of castle in my imperial pirate world but not exactely like you describe. I don't use much of the swords or shields. I use some of the helms. In my world the castle figures tend to be nobles, bureaucrats, wealthy merchant class, special guards or workers...all depends on the torso, etc. Quote
