chillgoose Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 After some years of a lego hiatus I bought a set a couple of months ago on a whim and am now back into it. Have to say that im sad I missed some good years of lego... wanting some sets discontinued is a pricey venture! Anyways im mostly into City Lego (As im reconstructing my town) but I love the modular, and creator sets. Even some pirate, castle and space sets. Glad to be back. I look forward to seeing your creations and in time you seeing mine. On a side note... whats with the forum lay out. When I click on a topic why cant I see all the posts at the same time? I have to click on each individually. Is there a way to change that? Thanks Quote
Peppermint_M Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 See the little Options Box in the corner of your post? Click it and change Display to Standard, I had it happen to me quite randomly the other day. Anywho. Welcome to the forum, I too seem to find something likeable in all themes. Enjoy indulging your hobby here Quote
Milan Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 I felt the same way when I have discovered what I missed during the Dark Age... But you will keep up soon. I wish you success in the reconstruction plan! Welcome! Quote
prateek Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 Hello fellow Canuck. I'm glad you passion was rekindled Quote
Spyder Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 Welcome to the best place on Earth to feed your Lego addiction. (Besides actually buying Lego ) There's always a few (or more) sets that we missed out on and want. I'm glad that you've decided to register here, as I myself have really enjoyed it. If I might recommend some other sites you might want to bookmark: The Brother's Brick- a place to see all of the greatest creations. Brickshelf- a photo sharing website exclusively for Lego, here's two tutorials on how to post pictures using it. You'll also have to resize them. Personally, I use IrfanView. Bricklink- The Lego Ebay Brickset- a site that lists all sets along with reviews and instructions. And when in doubt, here's the Tutorials Index. Have fun, and be creative! Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 Welcome to EB. Be sure and check out Classic-Pirates.com. I look forward to seeing some of your creations. Quote
legitimatealex Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 Hello there. I know what you mean about missing out on some great sets. One year off I came back and I missed the Exo line...Wow was there a great line. Robots...robots..and more robots...drool. Quote
chillgoose Posted May 12, 2010 Author Posted May 12, 2010 Thanks for the amazing welcome. Also much thanks for changing the forum format for me. That was annoying. Bricklink is an ideal place. Are most of the sellers there legit? Some of them have really outdated FAQ's and Shipping info. I really would like to get my hands on 7905 Building Crane and 4954 Model House. We shall see what happens. So many lego sets... But in the meantime I walked into my local toys r' us today and saw 30009 Christmas tree on for $2. Couldnt resist! Quote

Good to have another Town fan here. On a side note... whats with the forum lay out. When I click on a topic why cant I see all the posts at the same time? I have to click on each individually.
