MOC: Australia Post Delivery Van

I've been busy again everyone.

Yep, it's a postal van - I was meant to make this months ago, so two hours ago I decided to finally design a van to get the mail though !

does the rear hatch open?

just as a thought, most of these types of van's (in Canada since i don't live in Australia) have split opening rear doors. I think I would change the rear to include opening doors, or at least swap that 4 wide window and plates for two 2 wide pieces to give the simulated look of a split rear door.

Thanks 'slacker int' for your kind comments , I was thinking about doing a split door on the rear, still might, but this was actually built in less than two hours from bare chassis to being stickered. I'll look into the doors and try it as long as the hinge pieces don't stick out too far.

Thanks for the kind comments 'AllanSmith' - I'm a self-employed TV/VIDEO/HI-FI repairer, so sometimes I MOC to keep my brain on cue really to go to work as I'm on call 12 hours a day up to the full seven days a week as well !

Thanks 'dr_spock' for your kind comments, now a tv repair van......thanks to discount stores selling tv's real cheap they are not many of us left - I'll think about an antenna installation/repair van that I think would be good. Anyway while I'm wait for work to come in I'm designing or building something - keeps the brain active and focused.

Yeah, a Retravision would fit in a small town (whereas, say, a Harvey Norman would not)

It looks pretty swell. Though I've been wondering - where did you get those cheese slopes for headlights?

Darn I missed this. Thats what happens when when you build a MOC every day practically .

Anyway that's a nice postal van lightningtiger, very similar in shape to the real thing.

The colour on the decal doesn't mach up all that well but I appreciate that it would be hard to get right.

Overall another great build, well done!
