lightningtiger Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 See what you think of this one, even the officer has SAPOL badges on his arms and police pasted on the back of his helmet. Patrol officers either wear a light blue shirt with yellow/silver safety vest or black leather jacket. Comments welcome and I'm a conformist! ! Quote
Capt. Stabbin Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 (edited) Great job!! The resemblence is uncanny!! We have motorcycle police everywhere where I live, hiding just waiting to get you! Keep Bricking! Edited April 9, 2010 by Capt. Stabbin Quote
lightningtiger Posted April 9, 2010 Author Posted April 9, 2010 Thanks 'Capt. Stabbin' for your kind comments. Yeah, they like hiding behind trees or under overpasses - cheeky eh ? I'm a conformist! ! Quote
Hewman Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 Thanks 'Capt. Stabbin' for your kind comments. Yeah, they like hiding behind trees or under overpasses - cheeky eh ? I'm a conformist! ! Nice work. I really must not be observant. I thought they wore those tan jodpur like pants, not blue ones. Although that was probably 20 years ago and I haven't caught up with the change. Quote
lightningtiger Posted April 9, 2010 Author Posted April 9, 2010 Thanks 'Hewman' for your kind comments - only saw two officers walk out of Macca's today - dark blue pants most officers wear......... I'm a conformist! ! Quote
Hewman Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 Thanks 'Hewman' for your kind comments - only saw two officers walk out of Macca's today - dark blue pants most officers wear......... I'm a conformist! ! I wasn't doubting you at all. I just pay no attention, not really smart on my part not noticing traffic cops! So is this the lone police officer in your MOC town? Quote
Redcross Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 Well done lightningtiger, is that a radar gun on the back. Maybe you could consider a biker gang nemesis. As an fellow Adelaide resident I am sure you have seen them around each other. Quote
jonwil Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 I think the Mutt Williams torso from Indiana Jones would make a good bikie. Quote
lightningtiger Posted April 9, 2010 Author Posted April 9, 2010 Thanks 'jonwil', 'redcross' and again 'Hewman' for your kind replies , as well as the funny ones. My idea for a single cop in my town comes from an old tv series 'Solo One' which was the follow up to Matlock (Aussie 70's country town cop show). Now a bikie needs a chopper - now I have to come up with a chopper or something a bikie would ride on ! Now on the back of the bike is a heavy duty torch and walkie talkie, a really long com's antenna and extendable flashing blue light mast. I'm a conformist! everyone ! Quote
dr_spock Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 I think it'll go perfectly with all the speed signs you're planning to post around your town. Do you have a big bill board or tree for him to hide behind? Good work. Quote
lightningtiger Posted April 9, 2010 Author Posted April 9, 2010 Thanks for the kind comments 'dr_spock' - yes, I am planning something he can hide behind, but what it is will be a surprise but it will impress and be too cool ! I'm a conformist! ! Quote
marvinblue Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 I love the strobe on the back and the HF antenna. I've always wondered how to do a rear strobe like that. I think the saddle back are a little out of proportion but I love where you're going with them. Bit keen with the arm patches Nice work overall. Quote
lightningtiger Posted April 10, 2010 Author Posted April 10, 2010 Thanks 'marvinblue' for your comments - the side pods are that size for the reason to hold everything there including the aerial and flashing light and to balance out the brake light. I'm a conformist! ! Quote
prateek Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 Nice! I like the addition on the back, and as always, nice stickers Quote
lightningtiger Posted April 10, 2010 Author Posted April 10, 2010 Thank you 'prateek' and 'john31388' for your kind comments. I will soon design and build a small police station which is quite common in country South Australia. I'm a conformist! ! Quote
Minxter Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 Nice! It´s very good! Now I want to see your Police staton . Minxter Quote
lightningtiger Posted April 10, 2010 Author Posted April 10, 2010 Thanks 'Minxter' for your kind comments - well then I better do the police station next eh ? Now I will tell you it be a little like my first police station posted a few months ago, but it will be more house-like with a pitched roof and a front gate. Cute eh ? I'm a conformist! everyone ! lightningtiger Posted June 4, 2010 Author Posted June 4, 2010 Well it's being a long time between drinks as the old saying goes, I have updated both the bike and police officer, see what you think now...... Comments very welcome and I'm a conformist! ! Quote
lightningtiger Posted April 8, 2011 Author Posted April 8, 2011 The town's police motorcycle went missing, so a new one was ordered and arrived today. The officer was very happy to see his new ride, any comments please feel free to do so ! Brick On Ride On ! Quote
meyerc13 Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 (edited) The town's police motorcycle went missing, so a new one was ordered and arrived today. It looks like he needs to take it to the paint shop to get his 'police' logo added. However, maybe with the new higher light pole he doesn't need the logo. Even without it you can tell exactly what it is. Lovely bike, and I think I'm going to modify the two in my LEGO City to incorporate some of your design features. lightningtiger Posted April 8, 2011 Author Posted April 8, 2011 Thanks 'meyric13' for your comments, yeah....I guess I could of and still might sticker 'POLICE' on the bike....I'll look in on it Monday. Don't forget to post pictures of your modified bikes 'meyric13' and Brick On Always ! Quote
MightySlickPancake Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 (edited) Nice work ! I cant wait to see the police station. Also are you going to make other vehicles to go with it? Thanks, CB Edit: Is someone trolling me? The words 'Im a conformist' keep popping up in my post ? Edited April 8, 2011 by crabboy329 Quote
dr_spock Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Nice looking unmarked police cycyle. I like your new squarer boxes in the back. Are you hiding behind your new sign boards for a speed trap? Quote

Thanks 'dr_spock' and 'CB' for your comments, ah 'CB' there is an inhouse joke done by the MOD's on me so whenever K.O.B. in full is written it says 'I'm a conformist'.....funny I ain't one....too much scotch and red wine ! Oh, the speed trap trick.....sounds good to me ! Keep watching for my next NON-conformist creations ! Edited April 8, 2011 by lightningtiger Quote
