Hood Prototype

[Fires-storm]

I noticed the distinct lack of hoods or cloaks in the proper color for minifigs such as Boromir, Aragorn, ect, and decided to start trying to stitch some myself. Sorry for the very short description but thats really all I was thinking Tell me what you think, tips and critique are welcome, thats how I'll improve it.

Starting this off with a closeup:

I've tried this myself (but with paper) and I know, it's pretty hard to get it right.

I think you've done a very good job on it, I only think it's a little to wide.

Hope you do more customising in the future.

Thanks, I thought it a bit wide for normal capes as well, so my second prototype was born, its a solid piece with cape and hood in one attachment, looks way more balanced, in my humble opinion at least my next customs are probably going to be a trenchcoat and battle skirt.

Tidy? I don't quite get it, if you mean the stitch, thats as tidy as I can do it by hand^^" Prototype two is complete with a cape and hood combo in one piece, and it looks pretty nice...I think.

It's just large enough to put just one little hairpiece on the minifig. Nice.

Thanks, that is actually another reason I made it a bit larger! I never quite got that minifgis must be bald while wearing hoods so I thought hood with hair....huh
