You're such a good creature Mr Norro, and why wouldn't you want to display your pre-Eurobricks MOCs?

The first thing that strikes me like a shovel over the back of the head about this MOC is use of the sledge skis on the roof. This is most innovative indeed!

But here it looks different.

Is this because of the different view or has something been changed? They don't look like sledge skis so much afterall. Exactly which piece are they?

I don't post much in the Castle forum (its that Mod guy who leads the places, he scares me !) but I thought this MOC was great!

It looks like it could fit right into a CC layout, but it shows much more uniqueness and character than some of the market stalls people make. I love the patterned roof and the change of angle, makes it looks a lot more realistic. The use of the tooth pieces gives it a great frilly look! I can't see much of the interior but from what I can see there is a nice little fire and blacksmiths area, looks great from the pics I saw. And of course, the statues add a bit of class to the stall, making it an overall fantastic MOC! Nice to see you have so many rare pieces, like the brown cape and gold dragon helm!

Maybe I ought to visit this forum more often? Great stuff Norro!

Nice job Nathan. I really like the tent.

That classic knight in the back is a nice fig to.

PS. I agree with Jonfett about the "Mod Guy", Guardian of Pirate, Castle (and unfortunately) the Wild West and all other sets before the 1900s - and there's no point in arguing with him...

Thanks for the comments lads!

Exactly which piece are they?

It's a newer piece Phes (and never in a pirate set) so you may not have seen it... officially it is a tooth, but to me it cries out canopy.

here is a pic.

Thanks and God Bless,

Nathan

Ahhh yes, this piece...

I've seen this piece in those animal creator sets in the latest catalogues! Mr Norro you have shown great initiative, as LEGO once had in the sense they could combine serveal seemingly unrelated pieces to produce something interesting or serve a purpose. It is wonderful that you've continued this tradition and The LEGO Company should learn from your brillaince!

PS. I agree with Jonfett about the "Mod Guy", Guardian of Pirate, Castle (and unfortunately) the Wild West and all other sets before the 1900s - and there's no point in arguing with him...

Is this the same MOD Guy that encouraged you to write reviews about your favourite Wild West sets, told you what a good job you did and even pinned an index thread to ensure everyone could get to see them? What an arguement you two must of had when he suggested that :-D

He'd probably do good by everyone, but he can only do so much unless he recieves feedback or suggestions, otherwise its left upto his better judgement. Moaning in threads about him won't achieve anything productive however.

Yes, moaning has always been an execptional form of humour. And now we shall return to the topic of this thread...

The Brickster, what do you like about Mr Norro's tent?

Posted

I like the use of the multiple color roof pieces, and I agree with the originality of using the new "claw/tooth" piece. Gives it the "hanging tent" effect.

Also, is that water inside? I like that too (good for the horses and to do that blacksmithing).

The armor statues are a nice touch also.

Very good MOC.
