Tarngold Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 Well this is my second or third thread in this forum, but i feel obligated to propose this challenge. I CHALLENGE anyone with Exoforce lego to make a custom and post it here. If you already have, then post a link to it. The idea is to get everyone thinking on how to make the most of this wonderful line. The only stipulations is that it can only be mecha based(even though i saw the thread where the guy made some awesome vehicles using Stealth Hunter). Ill be posting my own once i get a hold of 2 models. Let the building commence!!!! Quote
The Hordesman Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 I usually combind bricks from various sets when Im building for the exo-force theme... Allowed? Quote
Tarngold Posted February 25, 2006 Author Posted February 25, 2006 Oh yeah, sure! It just makes the end result look that much better when more possibilites are given. The general theme must be exoforce mecha though. Oh and extra points to those who can make it super robot/gundam looking and not Mechwarrior like it already is. Quote
xenologer Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 I made a bunch of alternate models, each one using only pieces from a single of the official sets. Ok here we go: Sentry Speeder, a hoverbike vehicle based on the official Uplink Alt model, but built using Sentry instead http://mocpages.com/moc.php/13718 Thunder Hawk, a hovercar/hovertank based on the official FireVulture Alt model, but built using Thunder Fure instead http://mocpages.com/moc.php/13719 Vespids, hover gunships, based on the official Stealth Wasp vehicle, red one is made from Grand Titan pieces, white one from Stealth Hunter http://mocpages.com/moc.php/14226 and there was also Nova Wasp, my re-interpretation of Stealth Wasp, with a focus on stronger construction brickshelf is down right now so I cant look up the link at the moment...' Yep, I pretty much take mecha, and turn them into flying/hovering vehicles. Probably not what you were looking for.... you said mecha based.. I'd assume you were hoping they stay mecha afterwards... JoeMI6 Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 I'm not sure whether this counts, but here it is anyway. This is the L-TAU (Lightwieght Terrestrial Artillery Unit). The Robots felt that they needed to get one up on the humans, so this Artillery Unit (designed by Meca One himself) is now deployed (in large numbers) at some distance from the battlefield, in order to wear down the human front before close combat. L-TAU Ready for battle. Quote

bigfatslob Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 I really do love the Exo Force Line, The few sets that I've purchased have been to utilize their parts w/ my Bionicle based mocs, it integrates so nicely. I'm afraid it will be a few more weeks before I complete some new mocs w/ these parts and post them here though :( . I'm looking forward to see what our members will build ! bfs Quote
Tarngold Posted March 2, 2006 Author Posted March 2, 2006 Great Creations so far guys. Take your time in building, for it will pay off in the end. I think i may be getting a stealth hunter today. Im just too psyched up for this line. Quote

john cleese Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 seeing all these different designs you can build with a single exoforce set kind of makes me want to buy one. I was kind of reluctant before because there were so many specialized peices but im kind of intruiged now. Its for sure a good theme, but i would have preffered if lego did it when they were under old management, that would have made it perfect. Quote
