Selander Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 Here is my latest 6-wide truck, a german MAN truck. It's not really meant to be a certain model, I rather tried to copy what's typical for their design. (hope it's recognizable) Up in Scandinavia we see a lot of those trucks. The load consists of three truck cabs with original design by P Normandin. I am in the multiple-mood right now. ( with reference to my Smart's... ) All comments are welcome. Quote
BlueBard Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 Great! Not only a wondeful design but a really uncommon and original idea Quote
prateek Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 Nice! The multicoloured cabs are certainly eye catching Quote
lightningtiger Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 BEAUTIFUL prime mover and cute idea of interchangable cabs ! Although the white Man cab over design is what I the most of this MOC ! Thanks for the inspiration 'Selander' - great work and I'm a conformist! ! Quote

I love the concept of a truck hauling truck cabs! Ralph Quote
Ralph_S Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 Nice. I used to live not very far away from one of the DAF truck factory in The Netherlands. A lot of parts for the trucks were built elsewhere to be assembled there. It wasn't at all uncommon to see trucks there carrying DAF cabins in different colours, so this looks very familiar Cheers, Ralph Quote
Milan Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 It looks good. I like the roof and the color of the truck. Trailer is also nice, I would add tiles on it to be perfect match with the truck. Quote
dr_spock Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 (edited) Look goods. Nice use of colours. Edited March 22, 2010 by dr_spock Quote
slacker int Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 Great work Selander! First off I must say I completely understand your "multiple-mood right now". I spend hours revising and altering models in both CAD and actual bricks before I'm ever happy with a final colour scheme. The multiple cabs in different colours is a great solution and as mentioned already, an original and uncommon idea! One suggestion might be to add some sort of straps or even chains to secure the load... I wouldn't want those beautiful cabs falling off the trailer when the driver takes a sharp turn Quote
