I tried to post this in the buy sell trade forum but it wouldn't let me for some reason. Looking at these pictures, would you pay 200 dollars for this? it is apparently 37 pounds.

i know some of the images are small, but i see a lot of classic space stuff in there, and a bit of castle stuff aswell.

Also, sorry about the ugly image, i just wanted to merge all images into one file for viewing.

You have to make 10 posts to be able to post there, and if you like Space Lego, you should get it.

Oh wow, that IS a gold mine! Depending on the part quality, I'd say that's worth at least 200 if not more - I see a lot of really hard to find classic sets in there!

If there were better pictures, I could probably pick out specific sets and add up their bricklinks - I see two Classic Space ships and two mostly-built Castle sets, though.

(And by the way, members can't post on the Buy/Sell/etc. forum until they have 10 posts, I believe.)

You can't post in the BSTF forum until you have at least ten posts.

Personally, I wouldn't go for it. I know that some would prefer to buy the sets as they came, but I'd buy the pieces individually on Bricklink.com. You can find the instructions on Peeron.com.

I hope this helps!

As an aficionado of classic space lego, I would suggest to get what I can see there through buying on bricklink, there is absolutely no way you could get all these parts for anything like $200. Depending on quality of the pieces, $200 looks like a great buy.

Edit: Assuming sets are complete, just three of the bigger classic space sets would cost you $300 to buy and you'd have to go through multiple buyers and some parts are very hard to find. I did this through parting out sets on bricklink at average prices. PLus you are getting hundreds if not thousands of other pieces.

That really looks worth it! From what I can see, there's over 100 minifigs, at least 10 baseplates, lots of very old sets, and many other parts!

It all depends on the condition of the bricks, though.

Exactly. Those pictures are too small to make any detailed observations about the part quality. To me, it may be worth much less or much more than $200 depending on what the condition is like.

Condition is key, as others have already said. If the rarest pieces and minifigures are in good condition, BUY, BUY, BUY. On the other hand, yellowing, bite marks, or extreme play wear should persuade you to stay away.

I've pulled the trigger on inferior deals at far higher prices, and still come out ahead. Do it now to avoid serious, serious regrets later. Every set in that bundle is a winner on Bricklink, eBay, or as part of a space collection

I would go for it! With the two Classic Space ships in there and all the other blue/gray-themed LEGO, it would be a bargain for a Classic Space addict like me :classic:

According to my math you should ahve already bought tis.

Go Go GO GO!! That's a hell of a deal, the classic space, the amount of fig's and for a mere $200 bones?

Absoultely yes, get it!

I saw that the other day.

If you like space it is a great find, otherwise I would pass. The price per pound is too high for my taste.

I'd say go for It. However, If you just want the parts, then It's a waste, but considering the price and the sets, I'd say its a fairly nice price if you want those sets.

it really depends on the condition which unfortunately is hard to figure out from the small pics. generally classic space doesn't command as much as classic castle, so $200 is really stretching it.

it'll be a good buy if the indicated sets are near complete and in better than average condition (few dents and scratch marks on the parts). unfortunately the real value of the sets (the minifigs) are in such small pics, you really can't see if they have heavy bite marks or in near mint condition... the condition will determine the price...not the set itself.

Maybe not worth $200, not if the seller knows the market prices. ?

I wouldn't have done it, but if you have that much $ laying around...

Definitely! I would go for it, but that may just be my obsession with trans-yellow parts talking. Considering figs rarely go for under $1.50 (decent figs like these, anyway), and that there are so many parts, it definitely looks worth it.

If you do go for it, I'm sure we'd all like a detailed inventory of the buy! Good luck!

Did you buy this? I see the Kings Castle in the pile on the lower right.
