Classic Pirates Twitter Page?

Hey guys.

As well as classic-pirates.com, facebook, brother brick and my hotmail i also can't go online without checking my twitter.

For those if you who haven't heard of Twitter or have heard but dont know what it is then you're probably not bothered that Classic-Pirates does not have a twitter account.

I would like to see this happen, it would be great to log on to twitter and see that a new pirate moc has been posted or there is an upcoming competition or convention.

Tweets could have links to leog piratey stuff. With twitter you dont need as much detail as a blog so could include more than the classic-pirate homepage.

Just wandering if anyone else aggrees and how realistic this idea is.

Seeing as Captain Zuloo is Blog master this discussion will probably effect him so if he hasn't read this can someone contact him.

Classic-Pirates.com has a large network of social platforms including Facebook, Myspace and YouTube. These are in fact linked to our blog so that posts made on the Classic-Pirates.com frontpage are published on our social networking pages too. Twitter is growing in popularity, and it could well be beneficial to Classic-Pirates.com and its fans to set up a Twitter profile of a similar nature to our other social networking pages in the future. Yeah, they've been around for sometime now but the cheif engineer has been too busy drinking beer to implement them into the Classic-Pirates.com interface.

Too much accounts might be ALOT to manage, unless you give the YouTube Channel (and Group) to me and kick out Armendiaz!

Well fortunately, we don't have a member by the name of Armendiaz.

Ideally we'd have somebody whose sole purpose was to maintain the social networking accounts. Unfortunately our past volunteers haven't been very dedicated to their task and seem to have gone AWOL within 2 weeks.

As we haven't gone to lengths advertising the Classic-Pirates.com Social Setwork we haven't pushed to find somebody to fill the position.

Just to say something, this is weird. My friends middle name IS Diaz, and Curtis combined my last name with his middle name. Very weird.
