David85 Posted September 24, 2004 Posted September 24, 2004 I got the new Lego "Magazine" today, it was 18 pages! Wow that has to be a record. :| They had something on the new mag that they are going to do the one that we all voted on in that survey. I guess Lego doesn't care that almost everyone voted "no", but theior lose. They seem to like the loses. Anyways the little thing has some details... Cover... Join Now! Before a fool... I mean Brickmaster All New! New LEGO Design software and the Lego pices to build your models. Five surprise sets. They are only like $4 sets. 6 bigger and better magzines. Plus Bionicle comics, blah blah. More in fo here... http://www.lego.com/brickmaster/?domainred...brickmaster.com Right now it seems to be a USA thing only, but you guess aren't missing much. For the sets it's like "sneak peek! and it shows some Bionicle megablock". And they say "regular value $107". I don't know who much a Legoland ticket cost, but there is no value in this megablock. Ask Lego why the hell are they doing this BS instead of making new sets.
jonfett Posted September 25, 2004 Posted September 25, 2004 Still, I bet many people in Europe will want to be able to get it (I do!) And all those free sets, even if you don't like them, can be used for parts. If not you could sell them. Jon.
jonfett Posted September 25, 2004 Posted September 25, 2004 If it comes to europe I will. If not, then I hoep europe gets some great deal that the US don't. Maybe like, buy one set from s@h get 4 free! :) Jon.
David85 Posted September 25, 2004 Author Posted September 25, 2004 It won't, the whole thing is a joke the 5 sets equal $20, and the other $20 goes to what? A bigger magazine filled with more ads, the whole thing is megablock. If the sets were special sets or if you would get exculsives then I would sign, but they are just regular sets I can buy if I want to anyways.
ApophisV Posted September 26, 2004 Posted September 26, 2004 but they are just regular sets I can buy if I want to anyways. are you sure? aren't that special sets? like e.g. the mini tie?
David85 Posted September 26, 2004 Author Posted September 26, 2004 No but if they were special sets they would be saying "5 exclusive sets...blah blah!".
