jonwil Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 I am looking for ideas in building a coupe type car in 6-wide minifig scale (e.g. Aston-Martin). The car will be built in black with trans-smoke windows. I already figured out how to do the front, what I cant figure out is how to get the windscreen and then the smooth curve of the rear to look good. Any ideas would be appreciated. Quote

Well, did you check Brickshelf and MOC pages for inspiration? Do you have some virtual design, so the people can see it? Quote
Col. Brik Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 For inspiration go to any automotive website or google the car you want to mimic. That alone will allow you to better understand the body lines and angles. Then experiment with pieces until you are happy. I assume a DB9 Austin, tougher to MOC with its smooth angles, but doable for a talented builder. GO for it! Quote
