Governor Mister Phes Posted September 9, 2009 Governor Posted September 9, 2009 Does anybody know how the Pirate Brickmaster set costs in Australia? Quote
Svelte Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 $AUD39.95 is the RRP, according to the publisher. You can do a search from the DK website (try Lego for best results). Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted September 9, 2009 Author Governor Posted September 9, 2009 I purchased one for AU$34.99 through eBay, but the postage was $9.60. However, I'm thinking about buying more than one and thus reducing the postal expenses. I shall discuss with the seller further and see what arrangement can be made. If they're going to stock more then perhaps the users of this forum can also benefit from the slighly reduced price. Quote
Svelte Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 I use this website http://www.bookdepository.co.uk/ all the time for various purchases. Shipping is free, they use Royal Mail, and they pack hardbacks sturdily in cardboard. At today's exchange rate you can get the Brickmaster sets delivered to your door in about a week for around $AUD26. Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted September 9, 2009 Author Governor Posted September 9, 2009 That's better still! But approximately how long does it take to send from the UK to Australia? I'm assuming with the free postage they'd be opting for a more slower postage method? Quote
Svelte Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 Books are sent Royal Mail via Air - so I generally receive stuff in about a week. Sometimes faster, sometimes a day or two slower, but within that approximate period of time. Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted September 9, 2009 Author Governor Posted September 9, 2009 This is sounding all very good! Thanks for sharing this useful information Svelte. Quote
michaelozzie Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 I saw these in a shop last week at Robina here on the Gold Coast for $39.95. Going to get one on wednesday. Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted September 15, 2009 Author Governor Posted September 15, 2009 Was it an indepedent toy store or part of a larger chain? Better still, could you possibly name the store? Quote
