MattZitron Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 Well its aired in both the UK and Canada what'd you guys think? I have to say I LOVED it. He was exactly what I wanted from a Doctor. He was funny, crazy and best of all harsh. There were a couple of really dark bits which were great. The effects were better than the last series, and it went in directions that I wouldn't have guessed. Its the first time in years that my whole family sat down and watched a TV programme together; and all enjoyed it. It made my Christmas day. My Lego Tardis PLAYSET is almost finished. Just need to do the interior! Quote

Special Effects were top notch, but unfortunately I fell asleep waiting for the show to start and missed the first ten minutes (5 a.m. boxing day shopping :-D ) but other then that it was good ;) Quote

Also I have heard that they are going to releas a program called TORCHWOOD (That giant laser thing and Doctor Who anagram) featuring Captain Jack from the last series. This program will run alongside the new Doctor Who series and will be aired on BBC 3.... Quote

Episodes 5 and 6 will be Cybermen episodes set on a parallell earth. They're also in the last 2 episodes of the series as well.
