SWMAN Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 WOW!!! Even with the horrible, video camera quality, it still looks amazing. Just like any superhero movie, the first was an origin story, with only one villain and a lot of background. Now, they are moving into multiple enemies, a deeper story, and an ally (WAR MACHINE)! I love the first one, and this one looks even more amazing. I love how he revealed at the end of the first one that he was Iron Man . It eliminates the stereotypical part of the story where the attempts to keep his identity hidden while still saving the world. Quote

The video looks like dog-chow, and the audio is horrible, but from what I can see and hear, it looks like a sweet movie. I'm surprised that Stark revealed his secret at the end of the last movie. I wish he had kept his secret identity, because now Marvel is taking it in a different direction than the comics. Not necessarily bad, but it will be different for sure. Quote

Ya, these types of clips usually only last a few hours to a day before they get removed. Surprised i caught it when i did. Damn. I missed it. Can anyone fill me in on what could be seen in the clip? Basically you see a Villain that i believe was played my (Mickey Rorke) who had Tony Starks artificial heart. This Villain appeared to be breaking out of prison and had some sort of electrical whips. There also seemed to be some weapons being purchased from Stark by the U.S. military. Thats about what i could remember from the preview. Quote

I haven't kept up with Iron Man in current Marvel continuity but I thought It has been public knowledge since before the Civil War story arc that Tony Stark is Iron Man Or are you referring to something else? Although the quality is pretty bad, the movie still looks AMAZING. Iron Many is my second favorite all-time superhero movie (behind The Dark Knight). And this one looks funnier with more villains and more story development. While the first half of Iron Man was all about character development, Iron Man 2 can jump right into the action. And War Machine looks AWESOME!!!. I cannot wait for this movie. This and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I are the two I am looking forward too most next year. Quote
