Governor Mister Phes Posted December 17, 2005 Governor Posted December 17, 2005 But unfortunately its the 4+ crap... Quote
Evil Willy Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 What the hell..A clock...This is lego. Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted December 17, 2005 Author Governor Posted December 17, 2005 It comes with a 4+ maxi-figure if that's any consolation... Quote
Starwars4J Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 Blast you, ya FOOL! Can't I get any sleep 'round here?! Quote
Deinonychus Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 So...wait...if I don't get up when the alarm on the Pirate clock goes off does the figure empty out my wallet, violate my wife, burn down my apartment and steal my car? Quote
Evil Willy Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 So...wait...if I don't get up when the alarm on the Pirate clock goes off does the figure empty out my wallet, violate my wife, burn down my apartment and steal my car? That would be just about right! Quote
DoubleT Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 Phes i have just warned someone els in another topic, so i have to warn you also.. Please write with small letters :) I know it destroys the effekt, and it is a nice clock ;) Hope you understand :) Quote
snefroe Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 hm... do you actually see the 4+ pirate on the clock? would you ever know it's a 4+ pirate clock? Quote
metallifreak44 Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 I wish instead of bringing out a 4 + clock, Lego would bring out A NEW PIRATE LINE!!!! Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 Maybe with the Pirates of the Carribean II, we'll see Lego respond with some new pirate sets (not 4+). - probably not, but wishful thinking on my part. Quote
snefroe Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 so you don't know that lego doesn't want to produce exotic themes anymore? Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 I think it's unlikely that Lego will give us good pirates in '06 when the 4+ just came out a year or two ago. I could be wrong (and hope I am), but I'm predicting that they don't. Quote
xwingyoda Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 Talk of a nightmare !!!!!!!!!!! Getting waken up by a crappy 4+ pirate :D :P Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 Big let down when you consider what they could have made. Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted December 19, 2005 Author Governor Posted December 19, 2005 I think it's unlikely that Lego will give us good pirates in '06 when the 4+ just came out a year or two ago. I could be wrong (and hope I am), but I'm predicting that they don't. Unfortunately I suspect you're right! And given this Clock is a recent release this further supports your theory. I think! Quote
Norro Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 I have a lego clock (the soccer one) but wouldn't buy a 4+ one... you didn't did you Phes? : ) God Bless, Nathan Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted January 8, 2006 Author Governor Posted January 8, 2006 I might be tempted to use one as a frisby, but I wouldn't pay a cent for it! In fact someone would have to pay me to take the wretched thing. But on top of it being hideous 4+ Pirate crap, I don't like analog clocks because the ticking really bugs me. I can't sleep in the same room as a ticking clock! I have to take the battery out. Quote
KimT Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 I agree - that clock is hideous *sick* One would be much better off getting the KK or Adventures clock :oD KimT Quote

Governor Mister Phes Posted January 8, 2006 Author Governor Posted January 8, 2006 I agree - that clock is hideous *sick* One would be much better off getting the KK or Adventures clock :oD I think I'd go with the Adventurers Clock myself... The Power Ranger Knights of Knights Kingdom as offensive as 4+ Pirate maxi-figures are too me :D I don't like analog clocks because the ticking really bugs me. I can't sleep in the same room as a ticking clock! I have to take the battery out. Reminds me of another infamous pirate :-D Could it be Captain Hook? Quote
Norro Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 I don't like analog clocks because the ticking really bugs me. Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted January 11, 2006 Author Governor Posted January 11, 2006 I haven't seen Hook in years but I'm sure in that movie Captain Hook had a thing about clocks. I remember at the end the crocodile clock tower fell down on him and he disappeared, perhaps ironic symbology for his dislike towards clocks and crocodiles. I dunno... Does anybody? Quote
Norro Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 You're right... I happen to really like the movie Hook. God Bless, Nathan Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted January 12, 2006 Author Governor Posted January 12, 2006 Do you remember why Captain Hook didn't like clocks? Did he distain their ticking, or was it for some other reason? Quote
