fading colors

hi there,

i just bought a few old set at a flea market because as a kid i always wanted them, but never had a chance to get them,

anyway, after taking these sets apart and including the parts in builts i noticed how awfully ugly the old parts look, especially white ones sometimes turned into a brownish color which annoys me a great deal

so i was wandering, is there any way i can clean these pieces or are they spoiled for ever?
