LittleBuilder Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 (edited) Theme name: Punisher Warzone Theme description: I decide to try an original entry, when I was a little kid, Punisher was my fav hero and I decide to do him because he figth for justice, for revenge.So history is really simple: Franck Castle see all his familly killed by Mafia and after decide to do his own Justice in figthing the crime and cleaning the city for a while. Franck Castle is dead, call me ''The Punisher'' . Most do with FIMO oven clay and with M*gabl*cks (only the guns) he can fit with City set and modern set. Am really sorry about the fact then I can't add pic, wish this will not influence the judge choice. front: Back: Side: Sets for the theme could be : Impulse set will be: Street Bump: contain a street bump, a burning garbage and a Brickarms basball bat. Roof Batle: will contain two roof, , Punisher minifigs, 3 crazyguys, Brickarms RPG, Brickarms discontinued sniper and more! tin7_creations Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 (edited) i don't think you can use this for the contest... this is going to be considered a licensed theme... since this is a big comic book movie, which usually comes with a big tie-in line of merchandise. you need to use an original theme. not a comic book character. maybe you can create your own superhero with his own story. LuxorV Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 I really like your take on the Punisher, LittleBuilder: very neat and well focused; unfortunately, it cannot qualify as an entry for the MCW Contest : While License-like themes are not allowed (so don't try to introduce new factions for Harry Potter, Star Wars or Indiana Jones!), creations based on true historical events/factions and/or folklore can be used as a base for your creations (say local legends' heroes are welcome; just avoid all those monsters like Dracula, Frankenstein’s Monster and Werewolf already produced by TLG in the Studios line). To make things more clear, I'll say this: all the themes which already have a merchandise line are considered License. I don't know if you can find the time to make a new entry, or to chnage this into an eligible one (for example keeping the general theme idea, but eliminating License character names and the iconic skull of the Punisher, and using another symbol in its stead; in the end, you cannot make an entry out of the Punisher, but you can make an entry out of its concept as long as you don't directly copy it; again, Johnny Thunder is a 'knock-off' of Indiana Jones ), but I'd really like to see one from you; I always feel like I'm the bad guy when I have to disqualify an entry and 'rob' someone of his chances of winning .
