nismogrendel Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Hello, I love the site! I haven't touched any legos since I was about 12, think I'm going to get back into it. I was really into Space Police, and the white/blue/orange ice guys (can't remember the exact name). I'm going to see if my mom can dig up my old legos and mail them to me. I had a few other random space sets too. I remember one ship, it was red with a blue canopy, it was shaped like a + with black engines on each tip. It was way cool, but I can't remember it's name either. Two quick questions for ya all, are baseplates normally really expensive? I was looking on ebay, and the black/yellow space roads are 20 bucks a piece. Same with the mountain baseplate things, the one with the ramp and the pit in the middle. I really hope my mom didn't throw mine out, would be expensive to replace... Also, are there any ebay alternatives for picking up specific pieces/minifigs? Off to check out the rest of the site :) Quote
HumanPackMule Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 First of all, welcome to the addiction Second, there's a site that many members here use called Bricklink that allows you to purchase separate parts from certain sets. Third, as far as baseplates go, it depends on the source. I was able to get a couple of baseplates for free a while ago from a friend, so it always helps to ask. Hope this helps. Quote
nismogrendel Posted July 14, 2009 Author Posted July 14, 2009 Hey, thanks for the info :) I got an urge to hit up toys r us, and picked up the endor set and a tiny speeder with four rebel troopers. Having a blast putting it together, I think I can make this bunker better so I'll probably hit up bricklink. Thanks again! :) Quote
