fp_lego Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 I have a Bricklink LDD question i tried to look & search for the answer but without sucess, so here goes: Is there a way to extract a part list from an LDD file in order to use it into bricklink for my want list? Quote
LegoFranks Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 I've been looking for the answer myself, to no avail. DOn't think you can do it unfortunately... M. Quote
Mirandir Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 There's a small app by Anders Nolberger that can export a XML-wanted list from your LDD-project. http://www.nolberger.se/Lego/Wantedbricks/Default.htm I haven't tried this myself though as I never use LDD. Quote
fp_lego Posted July 10, 2009 Author Posted July 10, 2009 Haa thanks you so much Mirandir for putting me on track, this little application looks great! I was searching something like this all over the place! Quote
Anders Nolberger Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 I hope that it will help you. I was planning to announce this application here on Eurobricks after the next update to it. But the functionality that is now works fairly well so enjoy. The thing to look out for is the mapping between LDD bricks and BrickLink part number, especially for printed bricks. In the next version I plan to have the function to browse the BrickLink catalog and make it possible to add/replace bricks with a better interface. I will also work more on the mapping so that it works better. Quote

Sgt. Valella Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 Hello, the great wantedbricks can't run with the new version of LDD 3.09 I can't import the file LDD with wantedbricks, it makes an error. I'm having the same problem, and have notified the creator of the app. He said he'll look into but it may take some time. I'd reccomend you consistently check his website. He also has a flickr account. His username is his eurobricks name... Quote
Anders Nolberger Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 I have now made changes to my program to be able to read files saved with LDD 3.x. It can be found at http://www.nolberger.se/Lego/Wantedbricks/Default.htm Quote
